"I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth." This IS what we believe. It is not "I do" but "I believe" How amazing is it to recite that each with other believers! As we continue this series on the doxology, we get to "Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts." Take a look at Psalms 148. What are heavenly hosts? Are they angels? Do they have wings and halos? The examples given in the Bible range from the sun and moon to four headed beasts to bright figures and humans. BUT they are all commanded to praise God. We should be pointing all creatures to praise God. So, what's happening in heaven? Praise. God created all the heavenly hosts to praise Him.
