    Scheananigans: Scheana & Brock's Destination Wedding

    A few years ago we joined Scheana Shay and Brock Davies on Scheananigans to talk about their destination wedding in Mexico — what the planning experience actually looked like behind the scenes. A full wedding weekend, a large guest count, a television production crew moving alongside the event, and yes, the unexpected moments that required the team to adjust in real time. What makes this conversation special is that you get both sides: what the process felt like for Scheana and Brock as a couple, and what was happening from the planning side at the same time. We talk about why full-service planning is different from day-of coordination, the decisions that happened long before guests arrived, and what changes when a destination wedding also has a production schedule around it.     What to Decide Before You Book Anything

    The first booking feels exciting — it makes the wedding feel real. But some of the most expensive planning problems happen before the couple even gets started: the venue booked before the guest count is clear, the date chosen before anyone looks at travel, the package signed because the starting price seemed to fit. This episode is the foundation conversation: - Budget range before venue shopping — not a perfect category-by-category budget, a realistic range. Who's contributing? Confirmed or discussed?
