SinBin Postgame Periscope - Buffalo Sabres - March 17th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to build on a two-game winning streak and prove they’ve truly found their stride against the dangerous Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres scored first on a goofy play behind the net that was shot off Adin Hill and into the goal before he could recover. Buffalo took the one goal lead to the locker room after the 1st. Both teams had opporunities on the PP in the 2nd but neither could break through. VGK appered to be getting closer and closer to leveling the game in the final frame but Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen proved to be too good on this game. The Golden Knights record falls to 31-23-14 after losing to the Sabres 2-0 at T-Mobile Arena. Next, Vegas will welcome Western Conference playoff contender the Utah Mammoth on Thursday. Puck drop against the Mammoth is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Ken) Analysis: A shockingly similar game to the one in Dallas last week. VGK looked like they were good enough to win the game but couldn’t convet offensively despite a decent number of chances. Part, maybe the main part, of the problem came from the fact that they were not dangerous directly in front of the goal enough on this night. Couple that with one of the best goalie performances by a visiting netminder all year and you end up with a goose-egg on the board. (Analysis by Ken) Upcoming stories from the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Buffalo Sabres at T-Mobile Arena. SinBin Postgame Periscope - Chicago Blackhawks - March 14th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to build off their last win with a victory over the incoming Chicago Blackhawks. Vegas struck first on the power play off Pavel Dorofeyev’s 33rd goal of the season. Minutes later, the Golden Knights scored two goals in a matter of 25 seconds. Rasmus Andersson notched his 12th goal of the season and Keegan Kolesar recorded his 10th. Dorofoeyev scored his second PP goal of the game deep into the middle frame to give his club a commanding 4-0 advantage. Both teams spent most of the 3rd period attempting to kill each other. Neither succeeded. The Golden Knights record improves to 31-22-14 defeating the Blackhawks 4-0 at T-Mobile Arena. Next, Vegas will welcome the red-hot Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night. Puck drop against the Sabres is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: For the first time in a while, VGK had a truly awful opponent on the schedule and they did exactly what you are supposed to do with them. VGK wasted no time in opening the scoring and then kept pouring it on. The health of the roster being in the best place it’s been has offered depth allowing the Golden Knights to stick it too weaker teams and they did just that tonight. Puck got to the front on the PP and VGK's sticks won the battle setting up for a tap-in for Dorofeyev. It's a PP goal so it's not quite the same, but winning those will go a long way moving forward if they can keep doing it. — SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) March 15, 2026 https://twitter.com/SinBinVegas/status/2033041929563505037 The post VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS 4 CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS 0 (31-22-14, 76 PTS) appeared first on SinBin.vegas.

SinBin Postgame Periscope - Pittsburgh Penguins - March 1st, 2026

Recap: After an extremely long stretch of continuous hockey, the Penguins found the game’s first goal. Vegas couldn’t find an answer before the end of the 1st period. In the 2nd, many of VGK’s middle frame problems cropped up again, and it got even worse when they had to kill penalties. Pittsburgh scored three times including two on the power play and the Golden Knights headed to the locker room staring at a massive four-goal deficit. It was not any better in the 3rd as the Golden Knights couldn’t break the shutout and allowed another goal late. The Golden Knights record drops to 28-18-14, falling to the Penguins 5-0 in Pittsburgh. Next, Vegas will face the Sabres on Tuesday. Puck drop in Buffalo is scheduled for 4 PM. (Recap by Ken) Analysis: The Golden Knights played the way they need to for about three minutes to open the game. It didn’t pay off with a goal and then they went back to the same problems they’ve had early in a lot of games this year. The difference today was that the pushback just never came. The biggest concern though is for Mark Stone. If he’s seriously injured, there are some major concerns. (Analysis by Ken) Upcoming stories from the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena. No question about it. He's been bad. But, if you think trading the goalie is going to help, you might want to take a quick peek at the number next to VGK's logo on the scoreboard. SinBin Postgame Periscope - Los Angeles Kings - February 5th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to go into the Olympic break on a winning streak by beating the incoming LA Kings. Team USA’s Jack Eichel opened the scoring early in the opening period with his 21st goal this season. Team Canada’s Mark Stone followed up with his 21st goal as well. Pavel Dorofeyev continued the scoring surge on the power play and Team Canada’s Mitch Marner scored seconds later. LA recorded a goal with under five minutes left in the opening 20 minutes. Each team traded chances in the middle frame but neither team found the back of the net. After 40 minutes, the Golden Knights held a 4-1 advantage. The game slowed down in the final 20 minutes with neither team scoring another goal. The Golden Knights record improves to 27-16-14 defeating the Kings 4-1 at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas and the rest of the NHL will pause play for the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games. The Golden Knights will return to action on February 25th in Los Angeles. Puck drop against the Kings is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: A five-minute spurt of dominance carried the day for the Golden Knights in the final game before the break. Was nice to see VGK have the early flurry rather than giving it up. Hill had a really nice middle period which erased a below average defensive period, but overall the Golden Knights did what they needed to make the big early lead stick. SinBin Twitter Space - Seattle Kraken - January 31st, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to bounce back at home with a victory over the Seattle Kraken. Seattle struck first and later added a second goal later in the opening period. After 20 minutes the visitors held a 2-0 advantage. Ivan Barbashev cut the Kraken’s lead in half off a nice feed from Jack Eichel. With time winding down in the frame, Mitch Marner tied the game with his 14th goal of the season. Seattle quickly scored into the 3rd period to take a 3-2 edge. Vegas failed to the game in the third and lost the Kraken by one. The Golden Knights’ record drops to 25-15-14 falling to the Kraken 3-2 at T-Mobile Arena. Next up, Vegas will travel to Anaheim tomorrow for a one-game road trip. Puck drop against the Ducks is scheduled for 6:30 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: Another game, another early deficit, another recovery. This time it happened earlier than normal though and into 2nd intermission it was already tied. Like clockwork, this year’s VGK have struggled to take hold of games that are even. They allowed a 3rd period goal and then the push was too little too late, even though it looked good once again. Falling behind is costly over large samples and that price came due tonight.
