SinBin Postgame Periscope - Los Angeles Kings - February 5th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to go into the Olympic break on a winning streak by beating the incoming LA Kings. Team USA’s Jack Eichel opened the scoring early in the opening period with his 21st goal this season. Team Canada’s Mark Stone followed up with his 21st goal as well. Pavel Dorofeyev continued the scoring surge on the power play and Team Canada’s Mitch Marner scored seconds later. LA recorded a goal with under five minutes left in the opening 20 minutes. Each team traded chances in the middle frame but neither team found the back of the net. After 40 minutes, the Golden Knights held a 4-1 advantage. The game slowed down in the final 20 minutes with neither team scoring another goal. The Golden Knights record improves to 27-16-14 defeating the Kings 4-1 at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas and the rest of the NHL will pause play for the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games. The Golden Knights will return to action on February 25th in Los Angeles. Puck drop against the Kings is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: A five-minute spurt of dominance carried the day for the Golden Knights in the final game before the break. Was nice to see VGK have the early flurry rather than giving it up. Hill had a really nice middle period which erased a below average defensive period, but overall the Golden Knights did what they needed to make the big early lead stick. SinBin Twitter Space - Seattle Kraken - January 31st, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to bounce back at home with a victory over the Seattle Kraken. Seattle struck first and later added a second goal later in the opening period. After 20 minutes the visitors held a 2-0 advantage. Ivan Barbashev cut the Kraken’s lead in half off a nice feed from Jack Eichel. With time winding down in the frame, Mitch Marner tied the game with his 14th goal of the season. Seattle quickly scored into the 3rd period to take a 3-2 edge. Vegas failed to the game in the third and lost the Kraken by one. The Golden Knights’ record drops to 25-15-14 falling to the Kraken 3-2 at T-Mobile Arena. Next up, Vegas will travel to Anaheim tomorrow for a one-game road trip. Puck drop against the Ducks is scheduled for 6:30 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: Another game, another early deficit, another recovery. This time it happened earlier than normal though and into 2nd intermission it was already tied. Like clockwork, this year’s VGK have struggled to take hold of games that are even. They allowed a 3rd period goal and then the push was too little too late, even though it looked good once again. Falling behind is costly over large samples and that price came due tonight. SinBin Postgame Periscope - Montreal Canadiens - January 27th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to end their road trip off with a victory in Montreal. Vegas goal leader, Pavel Dorofeyev, gave Vegas the first lead of the game with his 23rd goal of the season. After the opening 20 minutes the Golden Knights held a 1-0 edge. Montreal tied the game quickly into the middle frame. The two teams traded chances, but each goaltenders were sharp in net. Eventually, the Canadiens took a 2-1 lead into the 2nd intermission. Vegas had several power play chances but failed to convert on any of them. With under five minutes remaining in the game, Dorofeyev recorded his second goal of the contest to even the score 2-2. The game ended tied in regulation and was forced to be finalized in overtime. The Canadiens began overtime on the power play, but the Golden Knights were able to kill it off. Later on 4-on-4 Montreal scored the game-winning goal. The Golden Knights’ record drops to 25-14-13 falling to the Canadiens 3-2 in OT. Next up, Vegas returns home for a date with the Dallas Stars on Thursday. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: When the game was at a slower pace, the Golden Knights looked more in control. Once it sped up, Montreal started to look like the more dangerous team. Both teams struggled on special teams and they each needed a high-tip to beat a pair of goaltenders that played really well. VGK’s best moments were once again when chasing a lead late. SinBin Postgame Periscope - Toronto Maple Leafs - January 15th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to keep their winning streak alive with a victory over the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs. Toronto took the opening lead two minutes into the game and took a 2-0 lead four shifts later. Facing his former club, Mitch Marner fed Pavel Dorofeyev on the power play to cut the Leafs lead in half. Toronto regained their two goal lead moments after. Vegas trailed 3-1 after twenty minutes of action. Vegas had an early second power play that they failed to score. Five minutes later, depth forward Keegan Kolesar scored his second goal of the season to cut Toronto’s lead to one goal. Vegas’ Tomas Hertl committed a costly penalty midway through the period leading to a 4-2 Maple Leafs advantage. Quickly into the third period, the Golden Knights drew a penalty and was awarded a crucial power play opportunity. Dorofeyev, VGK’s PP specialist, added his second 5-on-4 goal of the evening to get Vegas within one goal. Six minutes later the Maple Leafs regained their two-goal edge. With under ten minutes remaining Mark Stone gave Vegas life with his 17th goal of the season and Tomas Hertl forced overtime with his 19th. Jack Eichel completed the comeback in overtime. The Golden Knights record improves to 23-11-12 defeating the Maple Leafs 6-5 in OT. Next up, Vegas will host the Nashville Predators on Saturday night. Puck drop against the Preds is scheduled for 7 PM PT. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: The Leafs came out hot in this game and it took quite a while for VGK to get up to pace. Adin Hill’s return was unsurprisingly rocky and his defense didn’t do him a lot of favors either. The Golden Knights eventually caught up with the speed of the game and kept pushing until the bitter end. Even with a game-tying goal waved off late, they found a way to keep going and get it to OT. Unbelievable win considering the holes they consistently had to dig out of. (Analysis by Ken) Upcoming stories from the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Toronto Maple Leafs at T-Mobile Arena. SinBin Postgame Periscope - San Jose Sharks - January 11th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to keep their winning streak alive with a victory in San Jose. Jack Eichel opened the scoring with his 15th goal of the season. The Sharks evened the score minutes later but committed a costly penalty midway through the period. On the ensuing power play, specialist Pavel Dorofeyev scored to give Vegas a 2-1 lead. Vegas came out hot for the 2nd period. Eichel, Tomas Hertl and Zach Whitecloud all scored to take a commanding 5-1 lead. San Jose cut the lead to 5-2 before the intermission. An empty net goal from Shea Theodore and then another from Hertl extended the lead to the same score VGK beat the Sharks by a few weeks ago, 7-2. The Golden Knights record improves to 21-11-12 defeating the Sharks 7-2 in San Jose. Next up, Vegas will take on the Kings on Wednesday night in LA. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 PM. SinBin Postgame Periscope - Chicago Blackhawks - January 4th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to snap their losing skid with a victory in Chicago. Vegas’ Brandon Saad opened up the scoring against his old team with his second goal of the season. Minutes later the Blackhawks evened the score. After the opening 20 minutes the game was tied 1-1. The Golden Knights took an immediate lead :43 into the middle frame. Captain Mark Stone picked up his 12th goal of 2025-26, giving his team a 2-1 edge. Chicago tied the game scoring the only goal of the final period to force overtime. The Blackhawks scored early on 3-on-3 to pick up the two points. The Golden Knights record drops to 17-11-12 falling to the Blackhawks 3-2 in OT. Next up, Vegas will travel to Winnipeg to face the Jets on Tuesday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 5 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: Embarrassing game for the Golden Knights. They didn’t look dangerous most of the night and it got really bad in the 3rd period as they tried to hold the lead. Didn’t land a shot for the first half of the period, wasn’t particularly pretty in the defensive zone either. Eventually, they bent enough that they broke and then never possessed the puck in OT. Terrible loss considering it was a B2B for Chicago, it was Dad’s Trip, and the Hawks are without their only two good players… and their good goalie didn’t play.
