    Did I Stay Focused in 2024?

    ๐“‘๐“ต๐“ฎ๐“ผ๐“ผ๐“ฒ๐“ท๐“ฐ๐“ผ ๐Ÿ•Š- The Word God gave me in December 2023 for 2024 was to stay focused. It has not been an easy year because of where my focus was but with realization, acknowledgement, and humility, I have turned back to God, allowing Him to be my all in all. No matter what your 2024 has looked like, it is not too late to return your attention and focus back on Christ. You cannot go back and change the past but you can do something now to change your future. 2024 is not over so get back up, dust yourself off, and try again!

God has set this time of singleness for you so that you can be of servanthood to others, walk out your calling to the fullest with no distractions, be restored and completely healed from your distorted view of singleness, and go after everything you want to accomplish here on this Earth.     Word for 2024: Stay Focused

In doing so allows the Holy Spirit to do a mighty work in you so that you can gain spiritual awareness of when your thoughts start to drift into darkness. What you dwell on in 2024 will determine the success for the year. Even if you are in a situation right now in this season of your life that is beyond frustrating, overwhelming, and stressful, you can focus on how difficult it is or you can focus on the fact that God is keeping you and that it wonโ€™t always be like this; just remain faithful and see how God will continue to bless you. You have the power to choose your focus so what will it be in 2024?

    Peace, Obedience, Faithfulness

    ๐“‘๐“ต๐“ฎ๐“ผ๐“ผ๐“ฒ๐“ท๐“ฐ๐“ผ ๐Ÿ•Š- Peace is not something to pray for because itโ€™s already given to you according to John 14:27. God is peace and entering into His presence automatically gives you such a peace that cannot be explained. No matter what you are facing today, set the atmosphere by putting on gospel music, reading an uplifting faith filled book, listening to a sermon or podcast, but most importantly, getting into the Word. Obedience leads to so many blessings and abundance as we read in Deuteronomy and when you continue to walk in the way that God has for you, there will always be peace, even in the time of difficulty. Being faithful to what God has called you to do with the little that you may have moves the hand of God. Stop waiting for bigger and better. Work with what you have and you watch how God opens up the door for you!

    The Purity Walk

    ๐“‘๐“ต๐“ฎ๐“ผ๐“ผ๐“ฒ๐“ท๐“ฐ๐“ผ ๐Ÿ•Š- It takes so much strength, courage, and humility to walk a path of purity in a culture that is saturated in sex. What was once viewed as a kidโ€™s show is now seen with an underlying sexual connotation. Teen shows are now becoming the new adult shows. You cannot watch a good television show or movie without some form of sexual content. From the books we read to the music we listen to, it is everywhere. . To maintain a path of purity relies heavily on God. To constantly deny your flesh takes hard work, discipline, and most importantly, self-love. Youโ€™re going to make mistakes. Youโ€™re going to do things that are not pleasing to God. But what do you do when that happens? Do you run away and hide just like Adam did after he ate from the tree God told him not to (Genesis 3:8)? No. Go to God. He wants us to run to Him. To find safety, peace, grace, mercy, comfort, healing, love, redemption, cleansing, and forgiveness in Him. This journey is one that was never meant to do alone. Invite God in. Let Him help you. Let Him guide you and show you the steps in which you should take. Your reward will be great for honoring Him!
