If you are new to the podcast, none of this will matter, but if you are a returning listener, there are some changes you should know about.  The old show used to be about life in a remote mountain town in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.  My living situation has changed since then, and so I am rebranding the podcast to better fit this new life.  Right now I am traveling the USA in a converted schoolbus, aka "skoolie", with my yellow lab, Penny.  This podcast is a companion to my blog, www.shake-some-dust.com.  I post more frequently there, so if you want to follow along, check it out!

Ep. 26 Shake Some Dust: An American Expatriate Traveling in...America

Ep. 26 Shake Some Dust: An American Expatriate Traveling in...America

After a bit of a hiatus, I return with a new branding on the old podcast to work with my new life.  I've seen things out on the road you people wouldn't believe.  I believe I'm watching the American Dream unravel and most of us are too busy staring at our phones to see it.  Social media, the media media, and consumerism are a nice distraction from watching it all crumble.  It's hard to miss when you are standing on the outside looking in.

My journey into vanlife, traveling the USA in my skoolie with my dog, and being forced to reassess my priorities has given me a different outlook on what is happening in America.  No longer stuck in a house with a roof and four walls, I am seeing all sorts of different things as I move from place to place, traveling solo, and putting down my thoughts about the whole thing.
