Host Andrew Drummond interviews people who all have some tie to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We include weekly weather updates from WGME chief meteorologist Charlie Lopresti as well as behind the scenes happenings of Ski The Whites.
Roast The Whites - Pier Pennoyer & STW Coffee Co.
Pier is the man behind our fledgling coffee business but I couldn't think of a better person for the job. He thrives in the outdoors and carries a long list of accomplishments as a cyclist, skier, and now trail runner. We nerd out on coffee and give some insight on how we ended up with a $15,000 coffee roaster.
Morning Ride with Jake Inger
Jake Inger doodled on Strava Routes and came up with a 300 mile ride in the greater White Mountains that linked up all the major passes totaling 25,000 feet of gain.
Nik Stanciu - Tuckerman Brewery & Community
Nik Stanciu is the co-founder of the Tuckerman Brewery, one of the oldest craft beer companies in New Hampshire. It took a few weeks to get Nik to sit down for this conversation, understandably so but it was great to hear his story and the work that goes into running the Brewery. If you haven't stopped in to their tasting room, it's well worth it to get a flight of beers and look around the tasting room which Nik has spent many hours building by hand. Nik and Tuckerman Brewery are huge supporters of the MWV community. Thanks Nik!
Monte McIndoe - From Corporate CFO to Ski The Whites
Monte McIndoe has been an integral part of STW and our recent growth. He has done everything from helping out in the shop fitting customers to race directing to providing much needed guidance during the madness of the winter months. As I mention in the podcast, he came from the clouds and everyday I'm thankful that he has latched on to this small business.
Jamie Walter & Chris Shane - Pamola Creative & the Beyond Tucks Project
Jamie Walter and Chris Shane sit down to talk about their career paths merging to co-found their multi-media company Pamola Creative and what their doing hanging out at the Farm House in late January.
Ryan Gibbs - The Dawn Patrol King
I meant to have Ryan on a couple weeks back after his Backcountry Brews presentation but things just got crazy at the shop. We brainstorm a few new winter routes in the Whites and what he has been up to this winter. Give him a follow: https://www.instagram.com/powdergibbs/?hl=en
