    84. Closed Mouths Don't Get Fed

    Skip shares how difficult the last couple of years was at a previous job. He felt lost and stuck. Is this all he could do? He realized once he started talking out loud and feeling heard, that life started to change for the better. It is scared to do something different but they is something surprising when things start to go right. When you live in a fearful environment, you internalize it. Now, have to unlearn all that, it has been a beautiful yet scary process.

    83. Anxiety & Depression

    Skip chats about how he has been dealing with his anxiety and depression a bit differently than in the past. Sometimes you have to take supplements and medicine to be able to deal with the racing thoughts. You also have to build healthy habits to be able to deal with depression. Anxiety and depression aren't things you can control but you have to work with.

    Skip basks a little in the afterglow of the new job and how it leaks into other areas of his life. When things are going good, you still have to stay discipline and focused. Funny enough, there is an Anime titled Solo Leveling centered around doing activities to raise your stats up. Sometimes life is an RPG and we have to lock in to "level up".

    Skip does a 2024 recap on what happened for each quarter of that year and how he had grown into the person he is today. Q1 was focused on lost. Q2 relearning himself and how he wants to maneuver in life. Q3 is moving in flow in professional and personal life. Q4 is around acceptance and growth. A longer than normal episode but a lovely one.

    Skip chats about his new Wave hair era in his 30s and how he is adapting to getting into it. The rationale behind the haircut is personal but felt like a needed change. He is experiencing the change of attention he receives after getting his haircut. A lot more attention and comments has Skip feeling a little off about the newfound eyes on the hairstyle. Honest expression on how the shift has him experiencing things differently from the opposite gender.

    Skip chats about Gladiator 2 and how he analyzes the phrase strength & honor which has a heavy premise in both 1 & 2 of the movie series. He talks about accountability of the self and why he has to be 10 toes down on that to elevate his development to another level. You have to have positive voices in your head so the work starts in what you are consuming to shift the perspective.
