So That's Your Thing

I really love the NPR style approach Dan employs on this show! It's obvious he puts time into researching each guest's topic, to create an entertaining intro, as well as thoughtful, informed questions. The conversations are fun and lively, with each guest's full enthusiasm on display, but are also guided in a manner that keeps them from veering too far off-topic. I really do love this podcast and hope Dan will continue to create it. It's such a joy to hear what excites people!

What a clever idea! And so far, both enthusiasts were interesting and unusual. Well done Q&A with a clear path, lots of humor and humanity. Keep finding these zealots. Can't wait for the next installment.

Dan does an excellent job of playing the lay man/skeptic while guests pour their interests out on him. It's a brilliant concept and I can't wait for more. Much like a well made documentary can peak your interest in something you would generally not care about, this show and it's guests passion for what they love do the same. Don't pick out episodes of only things you like already! You'll miss out on the point and the magic of this show!
