    so what did i learn being a therapist intern?

    i love having these random realizations while filming. imposter syndrome is a bitch but the one thing that alleviates it is when i'm sitting with someone and they feel safe to let everything out that they've been holding in. i can't wait to keep growing and learning.

    On the defense

    this is definitely one of those spur of the moment, unorganized rambles, but it inspired me to dig deeper into the hyper-vigilance and to talk about it in therapy. hopefully when that happens, i'll come back with a more concise, well-spoken episode. until then, thank you for tuning in, it means the world to me 3

    healthy relationships are hard

    Years of therapy, crying, and self-reflecting have gotten me to the point where i.. am actively trying to have healthy relationships in all facets of my life. I have been trying to actively and respectfully receive feedback from my loved ones in an effort to become the best version of myself as i can be. I am very tired, this shit is not easy, but we're heading in the right direction that 20 year old me could only DREAM of.

    Well that was a long winded title, wasn't it? I do a little ASMR with trying to clean my makeup brushes and chat about the habits I'm trying to change and defining what self-compassion and empathy really looks and feels like.

    what i've been doing during this pandemic

    well, you're about to find out what these last 8 months have been like for me. it's been such a rollercoaster of great and s****y things, which i'm sure most of you have been experiencing during a freaking pandemic! i didn't mention in the video that i've also had a share of anxiety attacks and depressive episodes, which are always fun! but every day has been different and i'm just trying to manage everything one day at a time.
