Episode 9 Blog Post Reading: Dolly Parton was my Girlfriend

Episode 9 Blog Post Reading: Dolly Parton was my Girlfriend

This is a reading of my third Sober Gay Guy Blog post Dated October 27th 2020. After more than 100 days of sobriety, the best was I can explain it is that my brain cells responsible for some of my youngest memories began to heal and my memories were resurfacing. These memories and feelings were the beginning of what started a now solid relationship with my accountability practice. Telling my unabashed and raw truth, from my childhood up to my last drink have helped to keep me sober and honest. Walking through the trauma of my childhood and finding commonality between my father and other members of my family have made me feel less alone. I hope these Blog readings bring you the same clarity they have brought me. Sober Gay Guy Music By: Adam Moyer

This is a reading of my second Sober Gay Guy Blog post Dated October 21st 2020. After more than 100 days of sobriety and feeling desperately alone, I had finally gained enough clarity to make sense of what was going on in my head. My memories and feelings were the beginning of what started a now solid relationship with my accountability practice. Telling my unabashed and raw truth, from my childhood up to my last drink have helped to keep me sober and honest. Walking through the trauma of my childhood and finding commonality between my father and other members of my family have made me feel less alone. I hope these Blog readings bring you the same clarity they have brought me.

Brooklyn's Baby Girl ,

Fan of the show. Blessed to have been a guest. Honor of my life to say I’m a friend.

Please believe that what you are hearing is the truth of who TJ is, and has always been. I listened to all of the episodes during a long drive and it was like all of the encounters I’ve ever had with TJ-warm, honest, HIDEOUSLY HILARIOUS, informative (YOU ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING NEW!!) and wanting more time to share with this wonderful human being. I keep checking my podcasts to see when he posts a new episode-which I have never done! The topics of addiction, sobriety, trauma, family, friends, forgiveness and acceptance are so very sensitive, and yet TJ makes all of these things approachable and welcome. I love TJ, and soon you will too. Cheers🥂
