Remembering Michael Brooks and Continuing the Fight Against Fascism

Remembering Michael Brooks and Continuing the Fight Against Fascism

In today's episode, we mourn the tragic loss of Michael Brooks, taken too soon at the young age of 37. His death has impacted me and so many others on the left because the work he was doing was profoundly important for the current socialist movement and society as a whole. We lost one of our most critical political thinkers.

We continue to fight the good fight for everyone who doesn't live to experience the better world we're all striving for. That means confronting fascism head on every time it rears its ugly head. I talk about my experience at a pro-police counter protest in Denver on Sunday, and ponder how we'll ever get through to the right wing.
