    Humility

    Humility

Humility is not the easiest quality to cultivate but a humble spirit exudes beauty. In this episode, I talk about how I’ve grown in my understanding of humility especially as a premed student, and the way that Christ has exemplified this type of character in His walk.

    Anchor verse ⤵️

“Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit [through factional motives, or strife], but with [an attitude of] humility [being neither arrogant nor self-righteous], regard others as more important than yourselves. Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility], who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes—the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it]; but emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and fully man]. After He was found in [terms of His] outward appearance as a man [for a divinely-appointed time], He humbled Himself [still further] by becoming obedient [to the Father] to the point of death, even death on a cross.”

    Being Vulnerable

    Being Vulnerable

On this week’s episode, I talk about being vulnerable as a strength especially in navigating relationships whether that be with friends, family, or even God. Through this episode, my goal is to be vulnerable with you as I transparently shared the challenges I’ve faced in becoming more vulnerable with myself and others.

Let me know what vulnerability means to you and how you’ve approached it in your own life!

    Vulnerability in the Bible ⤵️

“but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength].”

    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9-10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Having Faith with Nicole Williams (Clarity Coach)

Having Faith with Nicole Williams (Clarity Coach)

In this first episode, my dear friend Nicole Williams and I have a conversation about faith and what it means to have faith, how to cultivate it and what it looks like when it starts to waver. Nicole is a woman who wears many hats while navigating college and growing in her relationship with God who has been leading her life. Check out her website - unapologeticnicole.com and follow her on IG @ProphetessNicoleWilliams!

After the past year's events, faith has been key and it is a noun meaning complete trust or confidence in someone or something. Many parts of this discussion may or may not resonate with you, but I hope that you are able to take something away from it!
