Solo-ish
A podcast from The Washington Post about the joys and conundrums of being single – everything from dating to traveling to making a life on your own. Host Lisa Bonos takes on these topics and more in conversations with experts – and sometimes friends – about being unmarried, but far from alone. [This podcast is no longer releasing new episodes.]
Great perspective!

This is a great companion to the blog. It makes some of the more frustrating aspects of dating not seem as daunting. I especially like when they talk about the DC dating scene.
Great insights into dating

This podcast is called Solo-ish, but anyone, single or not, can appreciate it. I like that it’s not about “how to get a guy” (or girl), but about what being single or solo is like, and how different people handle that. We often talk about being “single” as if it’s this monolithic state and that when people are single, they are always in “wanting to not be single” mode and forget about all the interesting things about dating itself. This podcast explores some of them and made me think about aspects of my past relationships and my current ones. Plus how can you not appreciate that the host interviewed her parents, who were quite amusing and more than game to delve into their history. Even if you’re single and “sick of dating,” this podcast will give you food for thought. And perhaps even suggestions about what to cook for your dates.
