I start my EMT certification course in a week. I just found this podcast and planning on listening to every single one. Thanks! Side note, you’ve got a great voice for sharing stories.

If you’re a new or emt student, please don’t listen to this podcast. All he does is complain about patients and calls. His lack of knowledge also clearly shows in the episodes. Sad.

There is a way to tell funny stories respectfully. Then there’s the way this host tells stories. His disdain for his patients is evident and disheartening. Imagine someone listening to his comments and then *not* calling 911 with a legitimate life-threatening condition because they are afraid of being silently judged and mocked. I understand that people in this line of work need to vent and use gallows humor…but that should stay in conversations between others in the industry, not on a podcast for the general public. I LOVE these kinds of stories and I couldn’t even get through the whole first episode.
