On being magnetic: How to attract the things and people you need into your life

    **NEW SOMEDAY IS TODAY EPISODE!**

This week, we discuss the concept of Magnetism! What does it mean? Why is it important to have? IS IT important to have? Who’s got it? How do you get and retain it? But most importantly...how can we be more intentionally magnetic? Or....IS THIS ALL SOME METAPHYSICAL GIBBERISH 🤣

The Law of Magnetism is one of the laws of the 7 Laws of Attraction. So truly, the idea is we’ve got to be magnetic if we’re going to be successful at attracting what and who you want into your lives.

    Thoughts? What makes you magnetic?

    Hello 2021: A Look Back On 2020

On this episode, Mack and I do an introspective look on all the things we accomplished and the things we were challenged by. I think it’s safe to say we were all challenged in one way or the other by 2020, but as with all challenges, what comes on the other end are lessons learned and new strengths gained. We talk about the books that powered us through the year, and the new habits we picked up through the year - ones that are sure to power us through 2021. What major accomplishments did you have in 2020, and what are you taking with you in 2021? Let's join the discussion!

Movie Night: Our Favorites of Quarantine!

Movie Night: Our Favorites of Quarantine!

    New SIT Episode:

    .
This week, we have a sort of unorthodox episode - our favorite shows of the past nine months! Over quarantine and being stuck at home we have had a lot more time on our hands; how have we dealt with it(other than this podcast XD)? With the remote in our hands, we have embarked on many a journey with the shows we have watched. Here are some of our favorites, and what they meant to us!

In this episode, we talked about:

    1. The 40 Year Old Version! An almost 40 school teacher is reaching the point in her life when she looks back and wonders what she has done with it(spoiler alert: not much). How does she choose to solve this? Becoming a rapper! This show has a lot of hidden lessons in between the lines that everyone could benefit from learning.

    2. Euphoria! This show, headlined by Zendaya, is a masterclass in its presentation, its acting, and its characters. It tells us about the dangers of addiction, the problem of self devaluing, religion, God, life’s meaning, and way more in a way that is an immersive experience.

    3. The Sound Of Metal! This show follows a drummer and former addict who suddenly loses his sense of hearing. This is one show that perfectly exemplifies the randomness of life. There are things you will never control, including the people around who support you. How do you deal with this uncertainty?

This conversation is one that is insightful, memorable, and best of all, full of the best recommendations for your future watching. Give it a listen!

Different Strokes, Great Folks: Love, Marriage, and Children. Part 2

Different Strokes, Great Folks: Love, Marriage, and Children. Part 2

We're back this week with 2 special guest stars - Mike and Risi Idiokitas! Mike and Risi, a husband and wife dynamic duo that we have known for well over 20 years! As we sat down to film this episode (during our joint family vacation in Chincoteague, Virginia this summer), we started off going down the memory lane of how they met and became High School sweethearts. We eventually settled on the main topic of Child Rearing. Specifically what best practices we leverage, and how children can throw a wrench into your relationship if you are not aligned on how to approach raising children.

This is the second part of the discussion last episode. In this episode, we talk about healthy relationships with kids, how our parenting styles have changed, and what kind of relatinship we want to have in the future.

    We discuss:

    1. Our children - what we feel is important to teach them, how to engage with them, and what kind of relationship we want to foster for the future.

    2. Parenting tactics - What we want to change, what we want to keep, and what we have been doing differently - or want to do differently - from our own parents.

As always, check us out on all podcast platforms. Link is in the bio...and YouTube. ...Enjoy! Remember to like, share, comment, and subscribe.
