Two years after my twin brother’s cross-country bike trip ended in tragedy, I decided to ride my bike from Massachusetts to Wisconsin. Someone Else’s Blues tells the story of how twins share trauma, even if they handle it in different ways. My brother kept a journal, wrote a novel, and launched a prolific career as a folk musician; I started a podcast, featuring the music of singer-songwriter Sam Steffen.

Powerful Story!

This is a sometimes funny, always moving story, told in clever achronological order. I learned more about the emotional lives of twins than I ever thought I would. Epic but tightly written and edited, with a beautiful soundtrack. A gift of a podcast.
