Someone You Should Meet with Jonny Bell

Someone You Should Meet with Jonny Bell In this episode, we sit down with Jonny Bell, 29-year-old founder of Create Group, a property services business with more than a thousand employees, recognised on the BW Rich 100 list and the AFR 40 Under 40. Jonny’s journey didn’t start in real estate. It started on the tennis court. From age 12 to 17 he chased a professional career, coached by Richard House, the same coach who worked with Pat Rafter. But after a defining loss at 17, he realised the path to international tennis wasn’t his future. Growing up in a family of doctors and medical professionals, entrepreneurship wasn’t the obvious path either. What followed was a pivot into real estate that would ultimately reshape an entire segment of the industry. Jonny shares why he believes property management is the most undervalued asset class in real estate, how he built a rent roll from zero to 3,500 managements in six years, and why he sees it as a process-driven, sellable, scalable asset — not an afterthought to sales. He opens up about starting his business at 23 with no money, facing doubters, and embracing the loneliness and fear that come with betting on yourself. We also dive into Wingman, his offshoring business with 1,200 remote professionals in the Philippines serving 800 businesses, and how a chance conversation about hiring Filipino staff turned into one of the largest offshoring platforms in the real estate space. Jonny explains his philosophy around delegation, leadership, mentorship and building businesses that never outgrow their leader. This is a conversation about vision, growth, courage in your 20s, and building something bigger than yourself. Listen Now on Apple Podcasts
