Righteousness Through Christ

In order to be free from guilt or sin we must keep the 10 commandments perfectly. So how is this possible? The only way to righteousness, which means to be right with God, is through Jesus Christ. So, are the 10 commandments still valid?

Our sins lead us to Jesus, and you know, our utter failure to change ourselves should cause us to look to Jesus for that also. But religion teaches us that wehave a part in making those changes, so we’ve been blinded to grace message, and churches are afraid to teach grace because of what will happen.

Led By The Spirit

Being re-born means that God replaces our old sinful spirit and gives us a new spirit that cannot sin. So why do we have a part of us that still loves to sin? In Romans 7, Paul talks about the war within him. In verse 18 he refers to something that is important to understand, but many don’t.

This is about letting the Holy Spirit change you from the inside out. This is where change happens. Working out your salvation is cooperating with the Holy Spirit so that what’s in you can get into your soul.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean (depend) on your own understanding.” Trusting can be very scary, so listen and learn how to overcome the fear of trusting.
