    In All Things, Seek God First

    How many of you wish you could hear more clearly from God? Every hand should be raised up high. The truth is, we all want God to speak to us, direct our steps, open doors, pour His favor out, and release breakthroughs in our lives. Sadly, most of us aren't doing our part. We've allowed distraction, overwhelm, and sometimes, just plain laziness to create a barrier. This is a serious problem. In order for the things in our life to have order and favor, we must be in alignment with the will of God. By carving out time to sit alone with God and His word, we will know more clearly what He is calling us to. We'll enjoy a greater sense of peace and fulfillment simply by drawing closer to Him and fixing our gaze on Him first. In all things, big and small, God should be the center.     Worthy of Your Calling

    As sons and daughters of God, we are uniquely called and chosen to lead lives that are worthy of our callings. This means we have a responsibility to be set apart in all of our ways. The way we think, speak, and act. The way we treat others and even the efforts we make to remain united as one body in Christ. Is it easy? NO! Yet, we have the Spirit within us, always leading and guiding the way forward.     The Power of Longsuffering: There is Purpose in the Waiting

    Waiting is hard. And yet, throughout life, we spend years in waiting seasons. Whether it be a relationship, job, finances, or a hundred other things, sometimes circumstances are not in our favor and there's not much we can do about it. The bible is clear that during these long seasons of waiting, we are to turn our focus to God as he prepares us for what's next.  In this episode, Barbara encourages us to press in as we learn to discern his direction for our lives. When we truly surrender all things and trust in God, he replaces our waiting-pains with contentment.     The World is Crazy- But You Are Not!

    The world is a crazy place right now. It seems like we're surrounded by evil, corruption, greed, self-idolization, and so much more. Honestly, it's exhausting and infuriating, especially when so much of it is happening blatantly before our very eyes. If you've wondered what your role as a Christian is during these times, you're not alone. Although we can't control everything, we do have a role to play and the bible is clear on what that is.
