Something Was Wrong

As I listened to this podcast I started to get confused with another riveting podcast I had just finished listening to “Love Trapped”. In both cases there is a person lying about being pregnant. It is just unbelievable how far these individuals will take it. Seems to me there has to be laws and penalties against people who perpetuate these stories because if the trauma they put other people through. Seriously, listen to Live Trapped. It is riveting and just unbelievable how far this person takes her lies.

Spoiler alert: the betrayal comes from the two people who pretended to be friends with a woman with Factitious Disorder in order to get more content to gossip about her on a podcast. This train wreck lacks any care or nuance for mental health. It’s cruel mean girl behavior.

Unfortunately, the last few seasons have departed from the compelling show that used to draw me in weekly. They last too long and lack editing. This season meanders from a story about a stalker to the psychology of friendship to a book review about attachment theory. I’m lost. And bored.

I’m so confused why the 2 guests on Season 26, Chapter 2 are featured on this show. I understand Alison has issues of her own, but the 2 friends who act like they are there for Alison, while talking behind her back gives off mean girl energy. Sounds like all parties involved need to fix something within themselves.
