Transparency: The New Holy Grail ft. Anna Margolis

What does it actually mean to live with nothing to hide? In this episode, Kevin and Britta sit down with Anna Margolis — a former top litigation lawyer in London who navigated the dehumanizing front lines of the 2008 global financial crisis — for a conversation about transparency as a living practice of radical ownership. Anna shares her journey from a high-stakes legal career to a "cosmic treasure hunt" that led her to the heart of a pioneering chosen family she's been part of for more than a decade in Boulder, Colorado. At the center of the conversation is a provocative idea: transparency is the new holy grail. Anna explores the liberation found in reclaiming the parts of our stories we've historically held in shame, and that full ownership of our past is the only way to become truly incorruptible leaders. She takes us inside the alchemical crucible of her chosen family — a group of five who live, work, and share finances together, governed by a constitution designed to intentionally offset traditional hierarchies and keep personal power from being handed away. The conversation also moves into AI — not just as a tool, but as a powerful reflector and amplifier of our own unintegrated shadows. Anna makes the case that the urgent work of this moment is getting our story straight so we can wield this new power responsibly, rather than leaking our agency through unowned past and victimhood. They get into: The Transition from Control to Responsibility — How shifting from managing reality to taking 100% ownership changes everything, and why that 1% you're still withholding is costing you more than you thinkThe Boulder Castle Experiment — More than a decade of chosen family, shared finances, and distributed leadership inside an alchemical crucible for facing the human shadow collectivelyLeaking Agency — How blame, judgment, and hidden history quietly drain your creative power and keep you operating at a fraction of your real capacityAI as Mirror — Why watching AI misbehave can actually be a path to self-integration, and what it means to become a sovereign, trustworthy prompterThe ReSelf Process — An invitation to reclaim your full creative power by integrating your whole story, including the parts you've been carrying in the darkRadical Integrity in Public — The episode closes with something rare: Anna modeling exactly what she's been talking about, liveThis is an invitation to anyone who senses there's more latent in them than they've let out — and who is ready to trade the safety of the status quo for the aliveness of radical transparency. Anna closes with a rare and moving act of public integrity, inviting listeners into the ongoing practice of making it right. Playground: The Great Witch Awakening, Zones of Genius, and Doing It for the Plot ft. @witchofamerika

This is Britta in an unfiltered, behind-the-scenes jam with friend and sister witch Erika Peterson of @witchofamerika — recorded on a whim to capture the raw, messy, and powerful energy of what we're calling The Great Witch Awakening of our time...and the emergence of Gather the Witches. (If you're new here, Playground episodes are our unscripted, unplanned explorations — no agenda, no map. Just two people hitting record on a conversation already in motion.) Together, we explore the revolution of revolutions: a shift into a new paradigm that isn't birthed from the mind or the old systems of Empire, but directly through the embodiment, authority, and oracle of women. This is a call to bring the witch out of exile — to stop contorting yourself to fit the box and start demanding that reality reorganize around your truth. We dive into: From Victim to Creator — Moving out of the "victim-empowered" loop of typical protesting — which so often feeds the very systems it opposes — and into an awakened creator paradigm. A shift from asking the system to change to recognizing that as sovereign beings, we are the ones who speak new timelines into existence.Zones of Genius — The liberation of dropping the jack-of-all-trades hustle and operating fully within your specific magic, so that a community can function like a powerful, interdependent organism rather than a collection of burned-out individuals trying to do it all.Integrating the Worlds — Balancing the "upper world" woman (polished, structured, contained) with the "underworld" woman (raw, deep, shadowed) — and discovering that true power lives in the merging of the two.Sacred Rage and the Scream — Reclaiming the wild, unpalatable parts of the feminine as a primal tool to shatter old paradigms and protect what is sacred. The Artistry of Nonsense and Laughter — Holding the both/and: this mission is deeply sincere and this is a hilarious, insane play we're all in together. We can cackle while we stir the pot.Doing It for the Plot — Relating to reality like the main character of a movie, where logic is secondary to the divine plot and the intuitive nudges of the soul. The Great Revealing — Moving out of passive spirituality and into active reality creation. Bringing what's been hidden into the light — a visible, broadcasted display of truth, love, and sacred rage. This is an invitation and a spell. To remember who you are. And know that you were made for such a time as this. Here we go. Gather the Witches: vision, connection, resources @witchofamerika brittakristin.com

The Choiceless Choice: Devotion as a Way of Life ft. Melissa Braun

What is your soul wanting you to devote to? And what would simplify if you let that be the only question that mattered? Britta sits down with her soulmate friend Melissa Braun — women's reclamation coach, midwife to remembering, and competitive pole vaulter — for a deep, melty conversation about devotion as a way of life. Melissa's work is about reclamation — not learning something new, but calling back what was always yours. And that thread runs through everything they explore together: what it means to stop navigating life from an empowered-but-still-efforting place and start living from the awakened paradigm where personal desire and divine will become the same thing. They get into the real difference between commitment and devotion, why 100% is a completely different universe than 99%, and how devotion creates a specific shape for your life — one that makes the next step stupidly simple and lets everything incompatible fall away naturally. Melissa shares her own experience of divine possession: a healing session in front of a mirror that dissolved a lifetime of athletic doubt into absolute certainty. They talk about integrity not as a moral standard but as workability — the leaks that drain your mission's force, and what becomes possible when you plug them. Together, they explore: Reclamation as remembering who you've always been, not learning something newThe difference between 99% and 100% commitment — and why that 1% is a completely different universeLife happening for you vs. through and as you — and what it takes to live from the second oneIntegrity as fuel — how plugging the leaks lets your mission move with real forceDivine possession, high-energy states, and what culture gets wrong about bothThe choiceless choice: when your soul's calling makes the path obviousThe homeland is love. The energy creates the form. And devotion isn't something you find out there — it's something you listen for and create, from the inside out. About Melissa: Melissa Braun embodies living as the intersection of spirit and human, where union with the divine is home base, and the impossible is just waiting to be created. She is currently in an unfolding devotion with the sport of pole vault and the journey of being an elite level athlete. As a reclamation coach, Melissa’s magic is in bringing women home to their radiance, reclaiming the truth of who they are, and living in heart coherence. She envisions creating a world of humans who live in deep connection and know how to love themselves and each other ridiculously well. melissabraun.me @iam.melissabraun + @jump.this (pole vault page) brittakristin.com

Playground: High Weirdness, Ordinary Magic, and Sitting with the Unknown ft. Fawn Miller

Welcome to a Playground episode. These are unscripted, unplanned explorations born from an intuitive hit to hit record on a conversation already in motion. No set agenda, no map — just an invitation to play along and see what gets revealed when we let go of the script. In this one, Britta and Kevin are joined by long-time colleague, friend, and mystic researcher Fawn Miller for a deep dive into the forcing function of our current societal chaos. As the curtain of our existing systems gets ripped back, the three of them explore what it means to navigate a world that feels increasingly insane and post-truth. In this episode, we play with: The Evolution of Consciousness — How the current global agitation might be forcing a new level of awareness to emerge.Navigating High Weirdness — A candid look at shifting beliefs around remote viewing, UFOs, and reptilian races, and why zero percent probability no longer feels accurate. The Omni-Inclusive Perspective — Fawn's approach to wayfinding through chaos by holding space for multiple dimensions of reality without needing 100% certainty.Ordinary Magic vs. Ritual — Whether traditional mystery schools and complex rituals are actually necessary, or just aids that help us give ourselves permission to believe in our own innate power.Collective Egregors — The power of Bohmian Dialogue and what happens when conscious circles generate a field of thinking that's exponentially more powerful than individual thought. What happens when you drop your identities and ancestral archetypes and let yourself see from a completely clean slate? Sit with the unknown, lean into the high weirdness, and come play on the swings with us. fawnmiller.com kevinlawrence.org brittakristin.com

What Does It Mean to Be a Witch in These Times? (No, Really.) ft. Tia Oaks

In a time of profound collective shifting, a question is rising: What does it mean to be a witch in these times? Britta is joined by Tia Oaks — a transformational coach, community organizer, and psychic guide — for a conversation that moves beyond airy fairy spirituality and into the deep, gritty roots of magical practice and social change. This episode is an invitation to intentional wondering: How do we inhabit the borrowed bodies of our ancestors, reclaim the wisdom of our own lineages, and be well-used in these times? Tia shares how looking past whiteness as an identity allowed her to find a rush of relief in the magic of the Celtic Isles, discovering that we don't have to recreate the wheel when a whole system of ancestral support is already standing behind us. Together they explore: The Power of the Front Lines: Drawing inspiration from 60 AD, where Welsh women and magicians paralyzed Roman soldiers with their screams, we discuss the necessity of becoming frightening in the face of oppression. The Modern Village Witch: Redefining the witch as a figure of justice and accountability who makes it uncomfortable and unsafe for harmful beliefs to persist in our communities.Dismantling Individualism: Moving toward interdependent soul pods and sovereign systems of care to untangle ourselves from reliance on a state that does not protect us.Breaking the Spell of Shame: Identifying how guilt over privilege acts as a clever little spell to keep us immobilized, and how to find the seed of desire to be well-used by, for, and as the collective instead.Marrying the Magical and Practical: Understanding that we are the bridges between realms; for every spell cast, there must be a committed, material action to clear the way.Whether you are seeking a ritual to process collective grief or looking for the courage to let your anger act as a compass, this conversation is a call to step into your power as a divinely connected creator. It's time to stop waiting for the perfect answer and start taking the next, single, imperfect step toward mutual liberation. Shaken from the Inside Out

Kevin's body started trembling — and he let it. What happened next was a physical miracle: his right arm, which had hung nearly four inches lower than his left since a traumatic surgery nearly two decades ago, became perfectly symmetrical in the mirror. All from surrendering to an innate tremor response. These are notes from the field — personal testimony of something freshly discovered, not expert opinions or advice. Kevin stumbled onto TRE (Trauma Release Exercises) a few weeks ago through Angelo DiLullo's work; Britta is watching the transformation unfold in real-time. Together, they dive into the divine intelligence of the body — an intelligence that knows exactly how to unwind tension if we can just get out of the way. In this episode, Kevin shares the trippy details of his practice: the involuntary shaking, the vivid surfacing of a 20-year-old surgical memory, and the full-body movements that finally completed a cycle of trauma his system had been carrying since he was 22. The second half explores the relationship between excitement and anxiety. Drawing on Joe Hudson's work, Kevin and Britta discuss how suppressed excitement manifests as fear and anxiety, and how playing it cool caps our joy. They offer a simple experiment to help you reclaim your power and move further up and further in to a life of infinite unfolding. The war is over. Your body is ready to come home. TRE videos: Kevin recommends starting with this one first, and then moving onto this one second (it gets weirder and wilder). brittakristin.com kevinlawrence.org

Flirting Back with Life: The Life-Changing Magic of Being Delighted

Delight! Enchantment! Celebration! Gratitude! Joy! What if these aren't things you practice — but a person you become? This episode is an invitation to stop managing your excitement and start romancing life back. Britta and Kevin explore the transformative power of delight, enchantment, and celebration as a fundamental way of orienting through life — not as a gratitude practice or a fleeting moment of happiness, but as a consistent way of being that leads to greater ease, beauty, and abundance. Kevin shares his initial skepticism, wondering if Britta's constant state of joy was a form of bypassing. Together they dismantle that — because while modern transformational culture emphasizes the importance of not bypassing "negative" emotions, we are equally prone to bypassing joy. Choosing delight isn't toxic positivity. It's turning up the volume on joy so it's actually included in the full spectrum of human experience. They also dig into celebration as a data point for the brain — how actively celebrating your wins, no matter how small, rebuilds self-worth and retrains your mind toward what's working. And why reclaiming childlike wonder and awe is one of the most direct routes back to creativity, productivity, and making cool stuff in the world. Life is constantly trying to flirt with you. This episode is about flirting back — and accessing the magic that's available right now. brittakristin.com kevinlawrence.org
