  1. Episode 1

    Episode #1 About the Show

This is the initial show for my podcast titled Sound Threads. Its a short program at only three and a half minutes long, but since Sound Threads is unique from other shows, I thought it required an introduction.  Each week, Sound Threads will look at music from three angles. First, I'll look at the larger picture such as music's very earliest beginnings. I'll cover some great artists and songwriting, and later in on, I'll take a look in depth at the music industry of today. In the second part of the show, I'll play one of my acoustic country songs. And thirdly each show will follow a story about a musician as he rises from obscurity, and gains fame and fortune. 2. Episode 2

    Episode #2 Musical Background

The music and songwriting I do today, represents my second foray into music. As a teenager and part of a Toronto-based music group the "Voyageurs", I was fortunate to play at some iconic venues including Massey Hall, the Grand Ole Opry (Ryman), and others.  In 1967, I put the guitar away to continue my education. This eventually led to a career in market research and advertising, and building my business. The music was never far away however, and by the early 2000's, I began songwriting, visiting Nashville for IBMA conferences, and building a music studio for recording.
