Like the world famous Cereal podcast, Soup Dreams puts together the pieces of a gripping story that captivates the listener at the expense of sometimes being a bit too personal and intimate. Just as I felt a bit icky listening to all the details about Adnan's life purely for my own entertainment, I also feel a bit invasive as I hear the exhaustive details of this deeply troubled young man trying to make soup. Bit by bit, his life unfolds for us through a chorus of raw sound, and the only way I can accurately describe how I feel about it is through the transcendent words of Chris Martin:
"All that noise, and all that sound. All those places I have found. And birds go flying at the speed of sound to show you how it all began."
