Get ready to delve into the theological twists and turns that a... children's book has to offer? For the first time, Southern Demonology takes a look at two particular religious organizations through the lens of a simple book published by one of them. Forgive the vagueness, but see if you can guess exactly the topic. A huge hint is already in the title of this episode.

    Demonic Dolls Part I

    Demonic Dolls Part I

Father Michael Birdsong and his son Deacon Josh join JJ yet again to provide an update on a very troubling case that he introduced in the season finale of season 3 on Southern Demonology, that involving a person codenamed Paula. One of the most eerie aspects of this possession is the infected's penchant to carry around her "friends" and actively pray with them. These friends are dolls. Tune in to discover the rest of the details!

The show is good

I do sincerely enjoy this show just as I enjoy JJ as a host, it brings enlightened discussion and is very fun to listen to during long work days. The only hang up I’ve had about the show is occasional strays into halfway moral high horse behavior (which I myself am guilty of too) however it just irks me when we are exploring a world of complete mystery and no factual ground to stand on whilst calling other things laughable or less valuable. I mean for all we know all of this is laughable and non valuable. I don’t mean to cast stones, but I like to make observations when I see them. Overall though, great work on the show JJ, I look forward to many more.

Can’t get enough

Finally a show on one topic the host has very great knowledge in. Even though some episodes aren’t about demonology they are still amazing and the guest help explain some of the other topics as well as the host. Honestly, the host knows his stuff and that is what makes this a wonderful podcast.

Very Interesting

Growing up southern baptist and recently breaking away from religion, this show is very intriguing. Im not atheist just overly curious about religion and spirituality itself. If you’re interested about such things this podcast is definitely worth it. Thank you to the host JJ for sharing his experiences and studies.
