Rusty has been through a trauma few have experienced. In 2003, the successful Zimbabwean businessman, who ran a safari outfit, flew his own aircraft, and had a fishing resort on Lake Kariba, was framed by a poacher, the police, and the courts, and wrongfully convicted of drowning a poacher.

His resilience, ability to face adversity, and pure grit are an unparalleled inspiration.

He talks and writes about being subjected to conditions most people would find unbearable, having to draw on his inner resources and strengths to endure the unimaginable.

In the process, he developed not only a life-saving resilience but also empathy and a keen desire to help his fellow inmates.

Pie-Pacifique Kabalira-Uwase was still an infant, his father was arrested and spent a number of years in and out of detention without having been charged or trailed for political reasons, he later passed on in 1989 when Pie-Pacifique was just 9 years old.

In 1994, the increasing political tensions resulted in the Rwandan Genocide which Pie-Pacifique and his family lived through, narrowly surviving several attempts to kill them.

Following the imprisonment of his mother in a military camp in Kigali (Rwanda’s capital city) at age 14 Pie-Pacifique became his family’s bread-winner.

Asanda Maku is an experienced conference emcee, host and facilitator since making her South African debut in 2007 on the hit teen show Hectic Nine-9 on SABC 2.

After her tenure on the program, she sharpened her presenting skills by appearing on other hit shows such as Sports View and Pop Up TV.

It was in 2015 that Asanda Maku's talents ushered her into the world of screen acting when she landed the coveted lead role of Buhle in ETV's fall sitcom, "B&B".

The following year Asanda Maku then worked as a producer on the feature film,  "Khuli Chana: Picking Up The Pieces."

A documentary on the shooting of South African rap mogul Khuli Chana which launched in cinemas across the country.

She continued her successful producing streak with the music series "Moments In Time" which was screened on both SABC 1 and SABC 3. Between 2017 and 2019 she scored featured roles in three successful soapies, Broken Vows, Generations and Isidingo.
