In this feed you will find interviews, live event broadcasts, public panels, and more. KMUN is a community radio station, broadcasting from the studios of the Tillicum House in Astoria, Oregon.     North Coast Chorale Special Program 2025

    KMUN is proud to present a special program in collaboration with the North Coast Chorale. This feature includes recordings from the dress rehearsal session for the North Coast Chorale’s concert Peace, Love and Joy: Celebration in Songs for the 2025 Winter season. The North Coast Chorale is currently under the direction of Dr. Vincent Jones-Centano. This special program was recorded and produced by KMUN – Bonnie Lively, Viridian Haugen and Jack Harris.  This temporary upload will expire on January 8th, 2026.

    The KMUN news team has landed a first place spot in the Society of Professional Journalists’ Region 10 “Excellence in Journalism” award, in the small newsroom category, for a story News Director Katie Frankowicz wrote last year about horse racing at the Tillamook County Fair.     In late February, town halls with U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley and Representative Suzanne Bonamici on the Oregon Coast drew hundreds of constituents who said they were unhappy with the Trump Administration and anxious to see more from Democrats.
