Spinning the Reel

Spinning the Reel has become one of my favorite podcasts over the last few years! It offers different takes on movies and makes you analyze movies more in depth. Sometimes you end up viewing the movie from a whole new perspective. Evan and Cody are awesome hosts! Give this podcast a listen!

I just like how this is called Spinning the Reel and there’s not a single spinning reel to be heard anywhere. Other than that the hosts remain very authentic and never pretend to know what they’re talking about

This podcast is dope. Period.

Evan and Cody provide the insightful takes on a vast variety of movies. Because of their analysis, I reevaluated some of the movies I watched. Of course, if they reviewed it. On some cases, I changed my mind such as with parasite. I really didn’t like the ending, though their insight caused me to change my view on how the sequence of events at the end unfolded. In some cases, I looked at a movie from a different point of view and I didn’t change my view on a movie. For example, I still think Joker was a well put together on how Arthur became the Joker. Anyways, it’s a good podcast that is worth checking out. P.S. Evan, I’d go on your show if you wanted to engage in the following debate, “Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?” -Rob
