Spiritual Waimai 属灵外卖： Take-Out When You Can't Get Out Podcast

树龄外卖 Shǔlíng wàimài means "Spiritual Take-Out". Wàimài is what we call the guys on motorbikes delivering restaurant take-out orders across the city. As I sat in my apartment unable to go out during those first few days of the coronavirus, looking out the windows, I could see these unsung heroes delivering food to the masses, keeping us all alive. As I thought about how we also couldn't get out to attend our normal fellowships to be spiritually fed, we also needed someone to deliver a different kind of wàimài... here you go, your Spiritual Wàimài has arrived!

    (English) The best is yet to come

    The resurrection of Christ transformed the world forever. God’s plan for redemption was completed as the debt for sin was paid, death was overcome, and Satan was defeated. Jesus was the first one to be resurrected, but all those who are forgiven by His blood will someday follow Him in resurrection! In the meantime, we are forgiven and are able to overcome the power of sin in our lives because of the resurrection. Plus, our enemy the devil has been defeated.

    Is Jesus the true king of your life? As true followers of King Jesus, we honor Him and bow before Him with reverence. We know He wears a robe bearing His name. He is crowned with glory and honor and on His head rests many crowns. He will rule with an iron scepter in His hand. The Lord God Himself makes a pronouncement that His kingship shall have no end.
