I grew up with video games and if I knew GamePro and EGM would give birth to modern “journalists” who treat video game reviews as diary entries or weird political tangents. This podcasts picks the best of the worst and makes sense of it. And I’m a liberal guy, by the way.

While I’m inclined to agree with the hosts that current games journalism, podcasts, media, etc. is very “woke” and spends more time on politics than the games, this podcast doesn’t work for me either. I listened to several episodes and it was more of an exercise in mocking and attacking others than making substantial arguments or even talking about video games. Often the hosts were clearly uninformed about the things they were mocking. It’s fine to be opposed to ideas and have different values, but if you are going to voice strong opinions you should at least educate yourself to inform that opinion. Otherwise you merely reveal yourself to be ignorant.

Three episodes in and this podcast is awesome! Love the knowledge the host had and the perspective the other host has. Subscribed and totally listening to all they put out. But...Allegra Frank is awesome!
