Olympic Gold Medalist - Amanda Longan
This week we don’t just metaphorically jump into the splash zone, we literally do! Amanda Longan just finished representing our Red, white and blue, in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and is back to talk about how surreal it was to participate in the games, the very real struggles of being a competitive athlete and how she used the games as a platform to honor Afghani women. We also check in to see what’s up next for her (hint, Paris 2024 is in the cards).
Susan Hollern and Hope Haven Rwanda
Listeners, listen up! Just GO! Go to Rwanda! Yes, you heard us right. And if you catch this week’s episode, you will understand why we say this. Tune in to learn how Rwanda and Skiptember go together as we speak to Susan Holleran who brings up all things God, Hope Haven (the foundation that works with Shelene’s Skip1.org) and how YOU all can help make others’ lives better this month. Sit with us as we go through Susan’s very moving story about how God called her to Rwanda and inspired her to help both Rwandans and Americans grow and learn!
Ahhhh…the smell of apples, pumpkin spiced lattes and the vision of back to school sales-it’s that time of year again! Fall is on her way and she’s skipping to reach us with Skiptember! That’s right, folks- we’re dedicating this episode (and this month) to one of our favorite foundations and one of our favorite stories! Shelene delights us with the retelling of how her foundation, Skip.org came to be. Join us and learn more about Skip.org’s important mission and how YOU can skip with joy in your day to make an even bigger difference!
We‘re Back! Shelene and Barbara with a cannonball to share
It’s Season 5 and we’re back! Barbara opens this season by baring her soul and answers the question we hear most on the road… When is SPLASH coming back? Well, we’re back Splash family and ready to give you a little love, laughter and encouragement to rehydrate your soul.
This episode, we have 3 questions we want to ask you all…1. Who’s your baseline buddy? And no, we’re not talking baseball. 2. How long has it been since you have taken your spiritual pulse? 3. What happens when life hits you like a tidal wave?
We explore answers to these questions and are validated that when you feel like you’re being hit from all sides, sometimes all you can do is: breathe, get a tan, have compassion, and believe in the power of prayer. Join us in the splash zone as season 5 starts now!

It is well with my soul
We’reeeee back! Whoo-wee, so much has happened in the world lately and we’re bringing back the love and joy in our “check-in” episode to take a baseline of our souls. Join us!
Now more than ever we need a splash of love, joy, and hope for the future. So blessed by each episode and the reminders/challenges to walk by faith and finish the race strong and hydrated!;) Thankful for Shelene’s books and her living example, inviting us to take part in making small skips that add up to provisions around the world for those in need. My prayer for Shelene and Barbara: as you continue to shine the light of Jesus, that the Lord will refresh and encourage you both by His Spirit. Amen!
I love this podcast so much. I love the transparency and faithful example of both Barbara and Shelene. I have learned so much about loving others. Every episode spurs me on toward love and good deeds. Thanks ladies! God is at work through both of you. Loved hearing from RD and love hearing from Brooke and Lev. Wow! So rich.
Following since Woven!
I saw these ladies at Woven in Kalispell, Montana and had so much fun! They had beautiful stories that were inspiring. Love it!
