    Floyd Landis: 'Doping in sport? Nothing has changed'

    Welcome to the Sporting Intelligence podcast, and my interview with Floyd Landis, the man who won - and then lost - the 2006 Tour de France. Floyd got in touch with me after reading my 'Skyfall' series on Substack, in which I wrote about the doping culture at the foundation of the golden era of the pro cycling behemoths, Team GB and Team Sky. It was an unexpected message, but it led to this interview, in which Landis talks candidly about his journey from Lance Armstrong's hand-picked partner in the US Postal team, through the elation and devastation of winning the Tour de France and then being stripped of that title after a positive test, and then giving the testimony that brought down Armstrong. And there's much more in this conversation - about his suspicion over the times achieved by today's riders, and a pragmatic way forward for cycling.
