    Edgar Mills (RET.) Green Beret, Osprey Shooting Solutions, Junto Podcast

    Robert "Edgar" Mills is retired out of 10th Special Forces Group. He served in the United States Army for 25 years, nine years as an Infantryman with the 82nd Airborne Division and from 2003 to 2020 with Special Forces as a Candidate, Weapons Sergeant, Intelligence Sergeant and Operations Sergeant. He, like his Infantry and SF brethren, has multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan as well as multiple non-combat deployments to several African and European partner nations. While stationed in Tampa, Edgar was the program lead for the SOCOM Marksmanship Program. There he led the development and execution of weekly and quarterly Combat Marksmanship courses tailored to suit a wide range of skill and experience levels. Under masterful mentorship he was able to sharpen his own marksmanship skill as well as his instruction methods helping to make the SOCOM Marksmanship Program highly respected within the Command. He and the team also organized and executed two notable annual events; the “D-Day Shootout” and the “Mogadishu Mile 5K Run and Shoot” to honor the fallen comrades of those two harrowing and heroic events in our nation’s history. Edgar has trained tactical and practical applications of marksmanship at all skill levels, from civilians with little to no firearms experience to special operators and police SWAT officers. His understanding of nuances and significant differences in shooting disciplines makes his method of instruction applicable to all shooters. Edgar uses training methodology that is safe, effective, relevant and encourages a continuous thought process. This methodology teaches how to maintain safety without sacrificing realistic and practical training as well as how to choose scoring, drills and scenarios that force accountability. He defines the differences between principles and techniques and emphasizes the importance of knowing those differences. Edgar provides courses covering several disciplines ranging from new shooter safety to collective team tasks for military and law enforcement with emphasis on individual accountability and mastery the fundamentals. Like many of his contemporaries, Edgar is passionate about sharing his experience. Through quality training he seeks to promote confidence and competence as well as individual responsibility and accountability.     Rick Hogg is the owner of War HOGG Tactical, Inc. and is a 29 year US Army Special Operation Combat Veteran including being a Special Operations K9 handler. He has taken his 13 combat deployment, to both Iraq along with Afghanistan, as well as his teaching experience as a Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course (SFAUC) instructor and harnessed them into a combat experience bases firearms and tactical training company, War HOGG Tactical, Inc. ​​ Veteran owned, War HOGG Tactical, Inc. a North Carolina firearms training company that travels the country teaching firearms training, tactical training and K9 training to civilians, military and law enforcement agencies teaching through combat proven techniques and experience to improve students marksmanship proficiency. War HOGG also conducts product development and product field testing along with a variety of consulting services in the defense, firearms and entertainment / film industry.​ ​ War HOGG Tactical, Inc was born in 2002 when my Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course (SFAUC) students returned from Afghanistan and said "That stuff you taught me saved my life!"   Rick and his retired Special Operations Forces (SOF) K9 Duco have been featured on Trigger Time TV covering an entire season on training a military working dog.     Ep59 | Perry Yee former U S Navy SEAL & founder and CEO of Active Valor

    As a U.S. Navy SEAL Operator, Perry Yee spent over four years participating in Close Quarters Defense and weapons training. After completing more than three years in leadership, training, and management of projects as an operator, his expertise in identifying problem areas and initiating corrective action developed and refined into shareable skills. His background in this field led him toward a goal of assisting the public in personal protection, tactics, and one-on-one firearms training. During his service, he was awarded the Navy/Marine Corp Commendation medal with a combat “V”, Army Commendation Medal with a combat “V” and the Combat Action ribbon for superior performance in combat missions in Afghanistan. Perry is the CEO/Founder of Active Valor.     This was filmed in April of 2024 Joe Kent, is a retired Green Beret combat veteran, 2024 WA State GOP endorsed Candidate for Congress, Gold Star Husband, and author. He also served as a CIA paramilitary officer. Joe served as a foreign policy advisor to President Trump and as a project manager for a technology company before retiring on his military pension in January of 2023 to devote himself fully to the campaign.

    Ep55 | Todd Fox, from the Marines to Madonna Close Protection Group

    I speak with Todd Fox on his business, life and why men must fight. Todd Fox is the founder and owner of the Close Protection Group. He is a former U.S. Marine and was assigned duties that spanned the Corps’ broad gamut, ranged from washing dishes to operating with JTF-6. His access to “B” billets offered insight into unique realms outside the military. Mr. Fox is also a former law enforcement officer. He was responsible for the creation, development and training of a regional law enforcement Special Response Team. His team participated in the protection of humans and assets during several pivotal national events. He is a graduate of multiple advanced programs at the Counterterrorism Division of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Mr. Fox has been a lifelong martial artist. He holds three black belts in uniquely different arts. While in the Marine Corps, he fought in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and retired with a professional record of ten wins and two losses. Mr. Fox is a U.S. National Champion, U.S. Open Champion and Pan American Medalist in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He continues to actively train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. Mr. Fox has authored three books on protective service operations and numerous articles as a protective security subject matter expert (SME).
