The President and the Power to Pardon EP 27

The President and the Power to Pardon EP 27

Chuck and Karen unravel the history of presidential pardons and discuss many of America’s most controversial pardons. They also unpack what it means for the current (for now) President. They amuse themselves way too much and probably offend everyone. They also ramble a bit. (Disclaimer, neither are attorneys, so our words should not be construed as legal advice)

    The Rambling Return

    The Rambling Return

Context and Clarity returns with an exceptionally talkative Karen and weary Chuck.  An improvisational episode where Chuck and Karen react to the attempted coups of the United States Capitol.

    What is a Constitutional Crisis?

    What is a Constitutional Crisis?

Karen and Chuck attempt to define “Constitutional crisis.” They fact check a meme. Chuck chats (also know as a rant). Karen talks civility-what it is and what it isn’t.

Chuck and Karen talk PACs and Dark Money. As usual, Chuck tries to steal the last word and Karen sighs again. Several times.

    Lobbying

Show notes: Chuck and Karen talk about the history of brib-we mean lobbying . Karen can barely get it together to start the show, and Chuck doesn’t really know what is going on

Fascinating Stories & Wonderful Hosts!

This podcast presents a vast array of fascianting stories told by two passionate hosts. I always learn something new after I listen and I look forward to many more episodes!

Too much chat and fake laughter

Great content but too much chit chat and giggles, like a morning radio show. I found it too disruptive to enjoy the experience.

Good information but...

I like the content but the bantering between the hosts and the laugh of the female is so annoying I can barely listen. I don't see why they think being funny and asking each other stupid questions helps. I think it would be an excellent podcast without this stuff. Please just give us the infomration and sorry but your comedy comes across forced and not natural so not funny.
