Welcome aboard Flight 144 of the Squawk Ident podcast - When the Music Stops. On today’s flight Roger and I discuss the media’s myopic lens over the recent rash of United aircraft making headlines. We also discuss the alleged slowdown of airline pilot hiring practices, and we discuss how you can get your hands on Delta Airlines aircraft trading cards.

On today’s episode Captain Frenn will update us on his journey and he will share his thoughts on the quarterly airlines earnings e-mails, why pilots should pay attention to them, and the industry’s financial future and how it affects the aviation career.

So stick with us as we discuss all this, the 144th episode of the Squawk Ident Podcast.

MIflyer ,

Great!

A good guy with good info!

Angry Alex ,

Fantastic podcast!

This podcast is a well produced show by its creator, and fellow hosts (with no annoying doctors) of varying aviation backgrounds. If you want to hear the inside scoop from flying professionals, need good advice because you have a desire to fly for the airlines (especially U.S. carriers), or are fascinated with aviation, then this is a magnificent listen and place to be. I thought the APG Syndrome was bad; but that has been eclipsed by SI (maybe pronounce it like "yes" in Spanish, or would that cause confusion with the English letter..??) Syndrome! Thank you so much, for the work.

Alexflys05 ,

Incredible!

I have listen to Tony for the past 4 months and burned through all of his episodes. His knowledge and the way he informs his listeners of what’s going on is just as the title says incredible. I am a CFI about to make that transition from GA to 121 and I find the insight that Roger, Rob and Tony all provide is second to none and feel that my level of competency has increased going into my interviews. I hope to cross paths with him someday in the future and be able to share my story with him.
