Originally created as a comic book and later envisioned as an animated movie, StarPlot has finally been brought to life by a host of current, occasional, former and novice podcasters.

This space based sci-fi comedy drama tells the story of Simon Fizzz, a reluctant writer turned revolutionary as he bumbles his way across the galaxy arguing with computers, robots and friends alike as he searches for meaning in it all.

Heavily influenced by Star Trek, Star Wars and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, it is neither of those, and is guaranteed to not be the worst waste of your time ever.

Written and drawn between 01 August 1979 and 23 August 1980, Book Two will perhaps be the most rewritten part of the future podcast version. In it the “anomaly” is pre-Other World Kiosk, but like in Book One, a few lines of dialog will remain.

    Comic Book Three

    Comic Book Three

Book Three of the comic book was started or finished somewhere around July 1980 to 1981. Here we will see the first indications of Smiley’s eventual influence on Simon’s story to come. With a few notable exceptions, the future podcast version will return to more familiar territory.
