State of the Realm

I finished Shadowbringers a few days ago and after finishing this amazing story I wanted to consume as much content around it as possible. I found this podcast and thought “Great, this should be an interesting lore discussion and I might learn some things that I missed”. So I started listening to the 5.0 spoiler story recap. Very disappointing. All they did was constantly nitpick minor plot points the whole time while making bad jokes about it. The few times they did have a good lore discussion it was very quick with again more terrible jokes thrown in. Also, headphones warning. One dude basically screams into the microphone anytime he has anything to say.

The show is entertaining and informative and I really enjoy Mr Happys videos. However, I guess it would be Sly.... his mic is overly loud and filled with static that it makes me cringe when he talks. I also enjoy listening during my work hours but I’ve noticed an over abundance of profanity coming from that dude, so I’ve had to really screen what I can and cannot play from the show. Wish I could listen without any worries from co workers is all.

#1 MUST listen /watch (twitch/youtube) show about FFXIV. There are a handful of great podcasts on the game. This is the definitive show. #1 podcast in my playlist at all times.
