Ep. 363 She Met a Witch And Got Triggered...then this happened

She started out Catholic and angry. Then she started dating a solitary Wiccan practitioner, felt triggered by every single word out of her mouth, and decided to educate herself instead of ending the relationship. That was 25 years ago.Lisa Hagen has been a witch ever since, and in this episode she tells the truth about what a long-term practice actually looks like. Spoiler: it's not nightly rituals and a perfectly curated altar. It's phases, pulling a card before bed, or a home office stuffed with candles, crystals, and tarot decks so there's always something to grab when a Zoom call goes sideways.Lisa found The Sisters Enchanted during the 2020 chaos, bought basically everything, finished almost nothing, and then last year something clicked. Menopause turned her body into a moving target, she went back to medical astrology to figure it out, and that became the thing she now teaches other women. She's a former app developer who used AI to build the astrology apps she once thought she'd have to hire out. She joined Sixth House Club, did the uncomfortable things she was told to do, and now she's booking psychic expos and partnering with a local witchy shop while still holding down a corporate job.We also get into identifying as a witch and being out of the broom closet with your sisters but careful at work. Having devout Christian friends who'll do a reading with you and devout Christian friends who won't, and keeping both. And why, when you're actually in your purpose, the selling part stops feeling like selling. What you'll learn:🌙 Why your practice becoming "normalized" is a sign of maturity, not slacking🌙 The three-fold rule Lisa treats as her whole ethical code🌙 How to set up your workspace so grounding tools are always in arm's reach🌙 What medical astrology is and how Lisa used it through menopause🌙 How she used AI to build the astrology apps she couldn't afford to hire out🌙 The mindset that got a self-described non-salesperson booking expos🌙 How to talk about your practice with religious family without starting a fight🌙 Why doing the uncomfortable thing you don't want to do is usually the thing that worksFind Lisa:Triple Moon Goddess (free apps, paid apps, and scheduling): https://triplemoongoddess.comMentioned in this episode:Sixth House Club: https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/SIXTHHOUSEMEMBERSHIP_MAY7OFFERStay Magic, Enchanted Sister!

Ep 362: How to Plan Your Week With Intention (Not Goals)

So what if your planner wasn't a list of everything you're behind on? What if it was a vision board for the week ahead? 🗓️ Join the Reclaim Your Time and Energy Challenge here: https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/reclaim_energy_challenge_2026In this episode of the Stay Magic Podcast, I'm handing the mic to Pati Diaz — coach, teacher, and part of The Sisters Enchanted family since 2017. Pati has been teaching in our programming for going on four years, and she is a genius at this particular thing: changing the way we think about something. I pulled a clip from one of her sessions because I want you to hear how she does it.Most planning advice starts with what you want to accomplish. Pati starts with how you want to feel and then works backward into the actions that produce that feeling. Because a goal is a yes-or-no question. Did you do it? Did you not? But a feeling has infinite doors into it. Focus there, and you stop white-knuckling a checklist and start noticing the opportunities already in front of you. She walks through the whole layered process.Pati also gets honest about her own resistance to this. She spent years as a "I'll just go with the flow" person and lost enormous amounts of time to it. Relatable? Absolutely yes.If you've been circling the same to-do list for months, wondering why you're exhausted and somehow still behind, this one's for you, Enchanted Sister.Stay magic. 📌 In this episode:🌙 Why your calendar can function as a vision board instead of a guilt trip🌙 The layered planning method: year → season → moon cycle → week🌙 Intention vs. goal and why feelings give you infinite ways to win🌙 What to do when your seasonal word feels opposite your word of the year🌙 Why fixed commitments go in the calendar first, always🌙 Scheduling fun and people on purpose (and why it multiplies)🌙 Zooming out to the 13-week seasonal view🌙 Pati's honest story about resisting planning and what it cost herQuick FAQ!Q: How do you use your calendar as a vision board?A: Start with how you want to feel, not what you want to check off. Choose a feeling word for the week, then place your fixed time commitments (work hours, appointments, standing obligations) into the calendar first. Whatever space is left is where you deliberately schedule the things that create that feeling.Q: What's the difference between an intention and a goal?A: A goal is measurable and binary so you either drank the water or you didn't. An intention is a feeling, and there are infinite ways to arrive at any feeling. When you set an intention around a feeling, you stop failing arbitrary metrics and start noticing opportunities that match what you're after.Q: What order should you plan your week in?A: Word of the year → season → lunar cycle → the week ahead. Each layer informs the next. If any layer doesn't serve you, skip it. The weekly layer is the one that matters most.Q: Do you need a word of the year to plan this way?A: No. If a word of the year makes you feel lost instead of oriented, leave it out. You can work month by month, moon cycle by moon cycle, or week by week. A word of the year is a guide.Q: Why plan weekly instead of daily?A: Daily planning keeps you inside the day you're already in. A weekly vision session lets you see the shape of the week and where you've overcommitted before the week even starts.Q: What are "fixed items" in weekly planning?A: Anything with a time commitment attached that you can't move like scheduled work hours, appointments, your kid's playdate, a class you registered for. These go in the calendar first and everything else has to build around them.Q: How do you make room for rest and fun in a full schedule?A: You schedule it on purpose, the same way you'd schedule a dentist appointment. Fun and childlike activity aren't the reward for finishing your list because they're what makes the rest of the week feel worth it.Visit us onine at https://thesistersenchanted.com/

Ep 361: Why Everything Feels Different Right Now (Lunar Nodes in Leo & Aquarius)

The lunar nodes have moved out of Virgo and Pisces and into Leo and Aquarius (south node in Leo, north node in Aquarius) and they stay there into early 2028. The collective assignment: loosen the grip on me-centered living and lean into we-centered living. Fewer gurus, more actual community. The nodes aren't objects in the sky. 🌙 They're mathematical points - coordinates born from the relationship between the Moon and the Earth. Which is exactly why they work on the inner world. The south node is what you're moving away from. The north node is what you're growing toward.Right now the sky is asking the whole collective to release Leo's look-at-me energy and lean toward Aquarius: quirky, community-minded, technologically strange, a little bit freak-flag-flying. We're already watching it happen with power moving away from singular sources and toward collective ones. Guru systems are coming down and communities where people can be authentically themselves going up.And no, that doesn't make Leo the villain. ✨ There's no good and bad in astrology. There's shadow and light in every sign, every placement, and every transit. "I" isn't wrong. "We" isn't holy. They're both just energies. The question that actually matters is what this means for you and that answer lives in your birth chart, not in a headline. I'll go first: Leo sits in my second house, Aquarius in my eighth, with Leo ruling my third and Aquarius my ninth 🔮This is what astrology is for. Not prediction or permission. It's for asking better questions.🌙 WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH✨ What the lunar nodes actually are (and why "they're not things in the sky" changes how you read them)✨ The difference between south node energy and north node energy in plain language✨ What the Leo-to-Aquarius shift is asking of us collectively, from technology to power structures to how we gather✨ Why "me to we" isn't a moral upgrade, and how to hold shadow and light in both✨ How to find Leo and Aquarius in your own birth chart and read the houses they rule✨ The self-inquiry questions worth sitting with for the next 18 months✨ How Pluto in Aquarius is turning the volume up on thisCheck out this episode for more on the lunar nodes: https://youtu.be/xqAuxLDy_WkReclaim Your Time and Energy Challenge: https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/reclaim_energy_challenge_2026Stay Magic, Enchanted Sister!

Ep 360: The Belonging Skill Nobody Taught Us (Witnessing & Being Witnessed)

🕯️ Afraid to join a group of women? It's not that you're antisocial...there's something else happening. Check out the upcoming call on Making a Home For Your Magic: https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/witchywomen_2026 Most of us say no to new spaces before we've even considered them because somewhere along the line we learned that being in a room with other women means managing emotions. Don't sound braggy, don't be too loud, don't be too much 🫠 Soften the good news so nobody feels bad about their own...the list can go on and on. That's the witch wound - the old, inherited fear that being seen, being powerful, and being openly magical isn't safe. In this episode I'm joined for the first time in a long time by two guests: Jenn Reagan, event planner, choreographer, and three-year Enchanted Sister, and Naomie Harris, certified astrologer and the woman who wrangles the chickens here at Sisters Enchanted. Together they built and ran our gathering in Salem, Massachusetts with a whole lotta' witchy women, most of whom had never met in person, walking into a room together. We talk about what came up before anyone arrived like the inbox full of women talking themselves out of coming. Jenn deciding to get on a plane while her basement filled with floodwater and why that turned out to be one of the best decisions she's made. The cliques that started forming before the event even began, and how we brought the energy back up instead of down into who-said-what. And the highlight ➡️ witnessing and being witnessed. Nobody teaches us this. It's a muscle, y'all, and community doesn't work without it. 🌙 If you've ever hovered over the join button and closed the tab then this one's for you. ✨ What you'll walk away with: — Why "I'm too empathic for group spaces" is often the witch wound in disguise — The question that makes hard decisions simple: how do I want to feel? — Why cliques form out of fear (and how to widen the circle instead of calling people out) — What separates actual community from a Facebook group with a nice name — How to practice witnessing (and let yourself be witnessed) without deflecting — Why the more authentically you show up, the less "fitting in" has to happen 🖤 You don't have to fit in, but you do have to let yourself belong. There's a difference, and we get into it. Stay Magic, Enchanted Sister!

Ep 359: Stop Trying to Fix Yourself

Live Webinar ➡️ https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/witchywomen_2026Here's what happens to so many of us when we come to witchery...We arrive with a list: Fix the anxiety. Fix the people-pleasing. Fix whatever's in the twelfth house that explains why we're like this. We peel back the birth chart looking for the answer to what's wrong with me and we call it a healing journey. But look at anything alive. A tree grows and drops limbs and grows again. Some years it blooms enormous and some years it's just trying its best. The grass changes and the rocks change. Nothing in the natural world is continuously improving .And that tree with the old laundry line grown into the bark? The mark doesn't go away, the tree just keeps growing around it.That's you! Growing and spiraling and shifting and releasing and all the things. In this episode I'm inviting you to leave healing at the doorstep and pick up something better: awareness, presence, and the self-trust that doesn't require there to be anything to fix.In this episode:🌀 Why the "growth = up and to the right" model is not the vibe🌿 What trees, grass, and seawalls know about change that self-help doesn't🖤 The difference between real shadow work and validation-seeking dressed up as shadow work✨ How to work with a trigger cyclically - shift it, shed it, compost it, repeat!🔥 Why wanting to get better at something (sewing, writing, tarot) is completely different from trying to fix yourself💫 Why you need people around you doing the same work and what changes when you find themYou're not a problem to be solved! Remember that 🌙Stay Magic, Enchanted Sister!---------FAQ's:Is spiritual growth linear? No. Spiritual growth is cyclical. You move through repeating seasons of blooming, shedding, and composting by returning to the same lessons at wider and wider turns of the spiral. The idea that you should be steadily improving in one upward direction is a cultural story, not a spiritual one.Do you have to "fix" yourself to grow spiritually? No. You're not broken, so there's nothing to fix. Real spiritual practice is about awareness, intention, and presence through noticing what's rising, holding it with care, and letting it go when it's ready. Not diagnosing what's wrong with you. What does it mean that growth is a spiral? It means you'll meet the same trigger, the same armor, and the same old story more than once. Each time you meet it, you're meeting it from a different place. You shed it, something new emerges, and the circle of you gets wider. Is shadow work about healing your flaws? Not exactly. Shadow work isn't self-diagnosis and it isn't trauma dumping. It's recognizing the armor when it surfaces, seeing it for what it is, and choosing to drop it again and again, without shame.

    Ep 358: Be More Disruptive

Does your authenticity make other people uncomfortable? Good. Keep that energy moving. ✨ Join the Reclaim Your Time and Energy Challenge: https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/reclaim_energy_challenge_2026 Q: What does it mean when your lifestyle "disrupts" other people? A: When living authentically makes others uncomfortable, it usually means you've interrupted their internal patterns, not that you've done anything wrong. Disruption moves stagnant energy. The moment to worry is when you start dimming yourself to restore someone else's comfort. Q: Should I stop doing things that make others feel bad about themselves? A: No. Someone else's discomfort with your reading, your boundaries, your parenting, or your choices is information about their inner world, not instruction for yours. You can hold grace for their reaction without folding on your boundary. Q: What is a Good Witch Bad Bitch Summer? A: It's The Sisters Enchanted's annual invitation to blend practical, grounding "good witch" foundations (make your home feel magical) with wild, unapologetic "bad bitch" living and treating this one precious life like it's yours to actually live. 🔮 This week on Stay Magic, I'm sharing the four specific ways I've disrupted other people's peace this summer and why I refused to stop doing any of them. Reading in public (yes, really), posting content that lit up the comment section, saying no thanks to the drinks offered, and letting my kids be wild in nature. Each one pattern-interrupted somebody and taught me something about standing in discomfort instead of shrinking from it. Listen, if the waters around you are always calm, there's probably a part of your truest self you're keeping hidden. ✨ In this episode: 🌙 Why disruption is energy work - moving stagnation so clarity can settle 📖 The high school "you're such a freak" moment that came back to me this summer 💬 What 700K-reach reels taught me about other people's nervous systems (and mine) 🍷 Standing in the palpable pause when you say "just water, thanks" 🌲 The "wow, that's brave of you" comments and what they actually reveal 🔥 How to drop into your body and check: is this wisdom, or just their disrupted peace? 🔗 Connect with The Sisters Enchanted:https://thesistersenchanted.com/

Ep 357: Are You Always the One Who Does Everything? That's Your Witch Wound

💚 Join the Reclaim Your Time and Energy Challenge: https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/reclaim_energy_challenge_2026Are you always the one who does everything...the woman who did all the work on the group project while everyone else got the A? 🌙 In this episode of the Stay Magic Podcast, I chat about why high-achieving, witchy women end up carrying it all (at home, at work, in every community they join) and why we hold ourselves back from being truly seen. Spoiler: it's not just your personality. It's inherited patriarchal conditioning and there's a more magical way to live. This one's for the introvert who craves real connection but keeps a protective shell up. The woman who won't share her wins because someone might need something from her or (what's worse) feel bad. The one who grips control of the dishwasher because no one loads it "right." ✨ If that's you, this is your invitation to stop being the point person and start circling up.In this episode, you'll explore:🔥 Why you became "the sun of the universe" - the one everyone orbits and pulls from🌀 How the patriarchal model (someone's in charge, someone's always last) runs your home, work, and friendships👑 Emperor vs. Empress energy and what a truly circular, matriarchal community actually feels like🕯️ Why letting yourself be witnessed feels so vulnerable (hello, witch wound)💫 How to reclaim your time and energy by trading linear rows for a sacred circleAnswer Bites ➡️ quick answers to what you might be Googling (or asking ChatGPT) right now:Q: Why am I always the one who does everything for everyone?Because you were taught that someone must always defer, over-function, and put themselves last "for the collective" and because you're faster and stronger at it, so you just do it. That's patriarchal, hierarchical conditioning, not a personal flaw. It's learnable, which means it's un-learnable.Q: Why do I hold back or hide in community and groups? Many high-achieving women stay small so they won't be seen as the know-it-all, won't have to do it all, or won't make others feel "less than." It feels like self-protection, but it's the witch wound (the fear of being visible and powerful) running the show.Q: What's the difference between hierarchical and circular community?Hierarchy puts one person in charge and everyone else in ranked rows where someone's always doing the most for the least in return. A circle means everyone is in service to everyone, everyone brings value (lived experience counts as much as credentials), and there's enough to go around.Q: How do I stop over-functioning and reclaim my energy?Notice where you've appointed yourself "in charge," name the linear/patriarchal patterns you're reinforcing, and practice letting the circle share the load and asking "who has capacity for this today?" instead of "I'll just do it." Then find women who hold you in community without making you shrink.Q: Why do I crave connection but feel afraid to be seen?Because being witnessed authentically means dropping the shell you built to keep from being ousted or over-relied on. In a true circle, you can share who you really are because belonging isn't earned by being the same, it's given because you're valuable as you are.💬 Tell me in the comments: Where in your life are you stuck in a linear row when you're craving a circle?

Ep 356 Planning Is a Vision Board

Join the Reclaim Your Time and Energy Challenge: https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/reclaim_energy_challenge_2026Q: What does it mean to treat planning like a vision board? It means seeing your calendar as a reflection of what you're calling into your life, not just a list of obligations. Whatever you put on the calendar is what you're putting out into the universe so you plan around how you want to feel, not just what you have to do.Q: How do you plan your week based on energy instead of obligations?Start with the practical layer first: put every fixed commitment on a calendar (appointments, calls, dinners) so you can see where your time is already spoken for. Then, on the days with fewer commitments, add to-dos without overloading any single day. This keeps your week aligned with how you want to feel instead of setting yourself up for overwhelm.Q: What's the best planning system for a busy witchy woman?A two-tool system works well: a digital calendar (like Google Calendar) for the practical, "where do I have to be" layer, and a lunar planner for the inner, "how do I want to feel and what am I doing each day" layer. The digital calendar is solar and outer; the lunar planner is inner and reflective.Q: How do you plan when you have ADHD or resist planning?Don't time-block your to-dos. Keep an open daily list with no assigned hours so you can do the hard things when your energy is high and the softer things (like a walk) when your energy dips. Freedom inside the structure is what makes it stick.🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮If there's one thing I know about witchy women, it's that we don't love to plan…but we LOVE a good vision board. 🔮So what if your planning was your vision board? In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on exactly how I plan my life in a very full season (summer 2026) when I'm putting more hours into The Sisters Enchanted than ever, homeschooling my two kids, seeing my grandmother twice a week, traveling in our RV, and still protecting space for walks, reading, rest, and actual joy. ✨This isn't a rigid, color-coded, squeeze-it-into-a-30-minute-block kind of system. This is planning as visioning. As energy management. As a witchcraft practice that brings you home to yourself. 🌙I'm walking you through the real tools I'm using right now:📅 Google Calendar - my ride-or-die for the practical, earthly-plane stuff (if it's not on there, I will not be there)🌕 The Sisters Enchanted Lunar Planner - where I track how I want to feel, cast intentions at the new moon, and build my open, un-timed daily to-do lists☀️ My Good Witch Bad Bitch Summer tracker - where I "backwards list" everything that's making me feel aligned with my values📚 A peek at how I plan our homeschool year by asking my kids the same questions I'd ask you: How do you want to feel? What would help?If your calendar makes you feel shrunk, constricted, and behind before your feet even hit the floor, this one's for you. Let's turn your planning into a practice that actually aligns your energy with the life you're calling in. 💫🕯️ JOIN THE FREE RECLAIM YOUR TIME & ENERGY CHALLENGEIt's free, it's ongoing, and it lives in our community space (where you'll grab your PDF guide to thinking about time in a whole new way, not just the wake-up-and-go-to-bed linear way).👉 https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/reclaim_energy_challenge_2026
