Mazzaroth Vineyards tasting is Believing
If you are gonna have a career or plan to work after you retire, at least make it something you thoroughly love to enjoy and if you are really lucky a loved one will be able to join you on your next chapter of life. The journey for Steeples and Peoples podcast this week brings us to Mazzaroth Vineyard in Middletown Maryland. I’d love to tell you we sat down with co-owner Garry Cohen and had a discussion but it was a bit more than that. His energy for what he and his wife put into their vineyard is glaring and we are looking forward to sharing with everyone the passion and non-stop level of the pursuit of the best wine that you will ever taste.

Earthly Elements: A Rock Solid Hobby
The foundation of our world is rocks. They come in many different sizes, shapes, colors and textures. On the Steeples and Peoples podcast this week Richard Bailey, long time owner of Earthly Elements joins us to talk about his passion for these treasures from the ground. He shares about how as a young boy in Dallas he became fascinated with rocks and his personal business as a child that was unique compared to other 6 year olds. Richard talks about how he travels to find various different rocks at shows around the country that are considerably valuable but yet maintains his focus of providing opportunities for kids to purchase their only jewels at a reasonable cost. A Renaissance man himself, Richard shares with us about how he has parlayed his rocking world at the yearly festival.

Elk Run Vineyards One of Frederick County's finest since 1979
In 1979 it started then 2 years later a migration to Frederick County occurred and a small piece of land was purchased with a dream of growing a vineyard and creating one of the best wines that your palette could enjoy. The Steeples and Peoples podcast visits Elk Run Vineyards and talks with majority owner, Fred Wilson. Fred shares with us what led him to the Mount Airy location, how his passion became a reality and the growth they have had since their humble beginnings in the early ‘80’s. Fred tells about where you can find his delightful product aside from the vineyard. He talks about the products that they have and what is their #1 seller. If you're looking for entertainment Elk Run offers that as well. The scenic drive and quaint setting is worth it and oh topping it off with some of the best wine you may ever enjoy adds to this incredible experience.

Customer Reviews
Good content, wait too long
This show would 4-5 stars if the shows were released closer to when they were recorded. Examples, the Weinberg show was obviously released almost 3 months after recording as most of the discussion was on performances that were past. The spin the bottle also discussing wine tasting from 2 months previously like it was an upcoming event. I would love love the show if it wasn’t for this one issue.
Teri is queen
This show is so lovely and engaging. Thank you for putting it into the universe
Could be improved upon
I appreciate the local information; however, hosts speak over each other, over guests and ask questions that the guest already answered. You can always edit dead air.
