    Navigating Parasocial Relationships in the Social Media Age

    The influencer whose vlogs you watch, the celeb whose Instagram stories you follow... these are examples of parasocial relationships. These types of relationships are like no other because they aren't completely one-sided, but they're definitely not balanced either. As our world becomes more virtual and we connect with each other on different social media platforms, parasocial relationships continue to become more important. We need to explore what that means for us as both consumers and creators. My friend Natasha Wadlington joins me as we define what parasocial relationships are, the research that currently exists and the way it manifests itself in our digital culture.     From Professional Student to Entrepreneur - My Business Journey

    I turned 32 in August and I feel like my journey is JUST BEGINNING. Would you believe that at age 27, I thought I missed the boat for success and settled in where I was? Most of the time I didn't think I was good enough. I think it's important to share my story because I used to think there were people that were just meant to be entrepreneurs.     Toxic Positivity

    Have you been feeling down lately? Maybe if you started doing yoga in the morning and practicing mindfulness you'd be a happier person. hahaha I kid I kid.
