Gulzar, the modern day bard has songs (and stories and dialogues) for all occasions. Few others can speak of ardent love with such brevity-“Tere bina zindagi se koi shikwa to nahi…” or be in sync with the rhythms of a playful child, “Sare ke Sare Gama ko le kar…” or my personal favorite- an apt comment on the human condition- “Goli maro bheje mein, bheja shor karta hai.”



In this story, a child learns some life lessons overnight.

Dharamvir Bharati was considerd was a colossus of Hindi Sahitya. In a story like Gulki he shows us why. All the characters straddle somewhere between good and bad, honest and dishonest, caring and mean. They live in the same greys that we real humans live in, outside the books.

धर्मवीर भारती आधुनिक हिन्दी साहित्य के प्रमुख लेखक, कवि, नाटककार,
सामाजिक विचारक एवं प्रख्यात साप्ताहिक पत्रिका धर्मयुग के प्रधान संपादक
थे। जीवन परिचयधर्मवीर भारती का जन्म 25 दिसंबर 1926 को इलाहाबाद के अतर
सुइया मुहल्ले में एक कायस्थ परिवार में हुआ था। स्कूली शिक्षा डी. ए वी
हाई स्कूल में हुई और उच्च शिक्षा इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय में। प्रथम
श्रेणी में एम ए करने के बाद डॉ॰ धीरेन्द्र वर्मा के निर्देशन में सिद्ध
साहित्य पर शोध-प्रबंध लिखकर उन्होंने पी-एच०डी० प्राप्त की।
प्रमुख कृतियां
कहानी संग्रह : मुर्दों का गाँव 1946, स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी 1949 , चाँद और
टूटे हुए लोग 1955, बंद गली का आखिरी मकान 1969, साँस की कलम से, समस्त
कहानियाँ एक साथ

काव्य रचनाएं : ठंडा लोहा(1952), सात गीत वर्ष(1959), कनुप्रिया(1959)
सपना अभी भी(1993), आद्यन्त(1999),देशांतर(1960) उपन्यास: गुनाहों का
देवता 1949[2], सूरज का सातवां घोड़ा 1952, ग्यारह सपनों का देश, प्रारंभ व
समापन।

निबंध संग्रह : ठेले पर हिमालय (1958ई०),पश्यन्ती (1969ई०),कहनी-अनकहनी
(1970 ई०),कुछ चेहरे कुछ चिन्तन (1995ई०),शब्दिता (1977ई०),मानव मूल्य और
साहित्य (1960ई०)।

एकांकी व नाटक : नदी प्यासी थी, नीली झील, आवाज़ का नीलाम आदि पद्य

गोविन्द मिश्र का जीवन परिचय

गोविन्द मिश्र का बचपन बचपन गाँव के प्राकृतिक वातावरण में, बाँदा में बीता। स्नातक की उपाधि के लिए वे इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय गए जहाँ उन्होंने संस्कृत साहित्य, मध्यकालीन इतिहास और अंग्रेज़ी साहित्य के साथ यह उपाधि प्राप्त की। गोविन्द मिश्र को उनकी साहित्य सेवाओं के लिए अनेकों सम्मान मिले हैं। इनमे से प्रमुख हैं, उत्तर प्रदेश हिन्दी संस्थान, भारतीय भाषा परिषद कलकत्ता, साहित्य अकादमी दिल्ली तथा व्यास सम्मान।

उर्दू लेखक, सआदत हसन मंटो (11 मई 1912 – 18 जनवरी 1955) अपने बेबाक लेखन
के लिए जाने गए. कहानियों में अश्लीलता के आरोप मंटो पर लगे और उन्हें छह
बार अदालत जाना पड़ा था, लेकिन ये आरोप कभी सिद्ध नहीं हुए.

वे अपनी लघु कथाओं, बू, खोल दो, ठंडा गोश्त और चर्चित टोबा टेकसिंह के लिए
प्रसिद्ध हुए।कहानीकार होने के साथ-साथ मंटो फिल्म और रेडिया पटकथा लेखक और
पत्रकार भी थे।

सिर्फ इक्कीस साल के लेखन में, उन्होंने बाइस लघु कथा संग्रह, एक उपन्यास,
रेडियो नाटक के पांच संग्रह, रचनाओं के तीन संग्रह और व्यक्तिगत रेखाचित्र
के दो संग्रह प्रकाशित कर डाले

भगवती चरण वर्मा  का जीवन परिचय /Bhagwati Charan Verma ka Jeevan Parichay

भगवती चरण वर्मा का जन्म उत्तर प्रदेश के उन्नाव जिले में हुआ था।  उन्होंने प्रयागराज से बी॰ए॰, एल॰एल॰बी॰ की डिग्री प्राप्त की लेकिन उनकी  रूचि कविता लेखन में थी । फिर उपन्यासकार के रूप में वे विख्यात हुए। वर्मा  जी ने 1936 के करीब फिल्म कारपोरेशन, कलकत्ता में कार्य भी किया। ‘विचार’  नामक साप्ताहिक के प्रकाशन-संपादन के बाद बंबई में फिल्म-कथालेखन उन्होंने  किया। इसके उपरांत  दैनिक ‘नवजीवन’ का सम्पादन, फिर आकाशवाणी के कई  केंन्दों में कार्य भी वर्मा जी ने किया।

उनके उपन्यास ‘चित्रलेखा’  पर दो बार फिल्म-निर्माण हुआ। पद्मभूषण तथा राज्यसभा की मानद सदस्यता भी उन्हें प्राप्त हुई।
