Storyteller Kitty Time

Lisa Kunze

There’s a moment when a cat’s stalking victim is lulled into a sense of calm...the moment right before the pounce...the moment when the mouse pauses as if to listen to a story about to begin. We at STKT exist in that split second, our tales are not sexy enough to be ‘news’ but still matter. We are resilient in spite of systemic failures, from cannabis refugees to invisible persons with disabilities to those who bear the scars of racism. The STKT process examines how we learn to trust each other again. Host Lisa Kunze, aka LivelyLibra of The Libra Lounge Podcast (2011-13). We got this.

    Storyteller Kitty Time: Episode 4 - 12/27/2020

We vary from the usual 7-question interview format a bit as I document, through 4 videos over the past decade, my Cannabis Science journey. From dreaming of living like it's legal, to being the one helping others in a medical shop and attending the first ever Cannabis Research conference, this journey has been cathartic in retrospect.  BUT... ...WHY?  Why hasn't rigorous science led to quality medicine in the form of affordable products in legal Cannabis dispensaries in the US by now?  Why don't doctors even understand the basics of the human Endocannabinoid System?  Do you know these basics before you walk into your first dispensary to simply try to feel better? The Storyteller Kitty Crew takes on these questions from their anecdotal experiences over the years, and ends with basic recommendations for YOUR GRANDMOTHERS.  Find links to research mentioned in this episode below, and in Episode 5 we will overview how to comprehend scientific literature in more depth because it's up to YOU, yes YOU, the lowly consumer to find out what works for you until WE, the people, eliminate federal barriers to study the plant. Intro bed music by Walker Desing; Closing bed music by Hunter & Larz.   All content original and if not credited to others above created in the mind of Host Lisa Kunze, or one of her alter egos.  Yes, chances are I probably taught you in high school or sold you pot legally. . . Storyteller Kitty Time: Episode 3 - 12/13/2020

Episode THREE!  3.  I loves me things in threes, I loves me some mountain vibes and I loves me some STEEZY STACY, but what I do NOT tolerate is racism in America. Listen to ski/snowboard instructor Stacy Smith (Steezy_Stacy on IG) describe his tale of being arrested in Denver this past summer during a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest.  Guess why?  Guess what ethnicity most of his fellow jail mates were?  Guess what police department is under investigation for their behavior at this event and WHAT CAN WE, as HUMANS, do to truly, finally end systemic racism in America and beyond? Want to play? LEAVE US A MESSAGE at https://anchor.fm/stkt/message : What does "Defund the Police" mean to you?   Have a similar story or a comment?  Record it for us, we may use it in future episodes.  Featured song is "Sweet Marijuana" by Gertrude Michael with special archive find intro by Uncle Viper, the Canadian announcer for the old Libra Lounge podcast; Intro bed music by Walker Desing; Closing bed music by Hunter & Larz.   All content original and if not credited to others above created in the mind of Host Lisa Kunze, or one of her alter egos.  Yes, chances are I probably taught you in high school or sold you pot legally. . .
