Like a book club with a trusted friend
Faith's insights into my all-time favorite novel are frequently profound. She expresses herself with enthusiasm and passion for her subject, but never in a way to alienate or talk down to her listeners. I feel as if I'm having tea with a kindred spirit who shares my values and pleasures. She is delightful!
A Literary Masterpiece
I have loved listening to Jane Eyre so far! Faith’s narration, explanation, and care with readers’ questions have made this an incredibly engaging journey. I look forward to finishing the book and starting the next one!
I tried….
I tried listening to the first chapter and couldn’t stomach the constant commentating! It sounds like she’s explaining everything to children, rather than reading to adults. I enjoyed her voice while reading a few sentences at a time, but her constant interruption is just too much. When you’re listening to great literature, it’s annoying to constantly hear the host stop and insert her interpretation. I’m an adult and can figure out the meaning within the context. Not for me, sorry,
