    Largest Art Heist in Canadian History | The Skylight Caper (1972)

    Episode 46 - In the early morning hours of September 4, 1972, three masked men entered the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts through the roof via a skylight and successfully stole valuable paintings, figurines and jewelry and escaped into the night. Despite another heist occurring in Montreal already that weekend, this heist’s bold execution and mysterious aftermath captured global attention and imaginations across Canada. Decades later, the identities of the perpetrators and the whereabouts of most stolen pieces remain unknown. This case came to be known as the Skylight Caper and is officially Canada’s largest art heist.     Ship Goes Missing on Lake Superior | Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald

    Episode 43 - On November 10th 1975, the largest ship on the Great Lakes sailed into one of the worst storms Lake Superior had ever seen. The ship attempted to make it to shore in Whitefish Bay but ended up vanishing without a trace, never reaching its destination. The SS Edmund Fitzgerald, considered the pride of American inland shipping, was lost along with twenty-nine crew members. At the time nobody knew what happened to the ship as it had simply disappeared. It was eventually found a few days later at the bottom of Lake Superior split in two parts. What happened to the boat and why did it sink the night of November 10th?
