Obscura

We can't believe we're almost done the first season. Obscura is the penultimate episode in Smallville's first season. Lana gains some powers after a freak explosion in some field somewhere in Smallville after she and cowboy Whitney trot around. She sees through the lenses of an unknown kidnapper who has their eyes on Chloe. This week's Guys Without Capes episode examines the setup for the season finale and talks about how disruption creates the tension necessary to wrap up 21 episodes and windup the next.

This week's Smallville episode features guest star Adam Brody, whose character has the power of telekinesis (and magical drawing ability? and clairvoyance?) after getting injured in a brutal hit and run. The Guys are back at it this week. Mark's away at Mount Hyootas again this week and Tim makes his way to one of the Southern Gulf Islands of BC.
