Episode 22 Part 3: More Modernist Modernism

In the third and final part of ep.22, we complete the Third World series in Africa and Latin America. We discuss why Brasilia is anti-colonial, and we talk about Ghana a lot while totally ignoring Adjaye because it was recorded before the story and also what more is there to say anyway? Episode 22 Part 2: Third World Rising

In part 2 of ep.22 of streetsweeper, we finally decolonise our content. We move from Venice to the Global South, and from the Global South to the Third World, which we think was better actually and also it's making a comeback. Episode 22 Part 1: Laboratory Liberation

Ep. 22 of streetsweeper comes late but is a biggie. In part 1 we again look at Venice from our London pov as it looks at the Global South from its Venice pov. It has no buildings and some say that's bad. Apparently it's got the future in a petri dish tho. pre-Episode 21 Bonus: Review: Picard Aesthetics

Episode 21 is late as it was supposed to be about the Venice Biennale but instead became a much bigger thing about "what is Third World architecture" - a question asked by a patron before which we've been wanting to do a deep dive into. It will come in later this month, so in the meantime have a 20min chat about Star Trek. Episode 20: King Charles III on top of a Zaha Hadid building

In episode 20 of streetsweeper, we were in China for a bit and it was good. Meanwhile in the barbaric West the king gets crowned by the court, tories get courted by labour, and starchitecture uses AI to plagiarise itself. Episode 19: Who Sweeps the Sweepers?

In episode 19, we take petty revenge on The Architectural Review who done stole our logo definitely probably. We ruthlessly critique their labour issue and it turns out it's kinda alright. Our broom is still bigger than theirs. And redder. Intro Music: 'A Ya Ya (Who Dat)' - Ghetto Mezikanz https://soundcloud.com/djdice_chicago/a-ya-ya-who-dat-ghetto

Episode 18 Part 2: Game Theory - interview with Luci Brănescu

This episode, videogames are more real than architecture, games may be art but art definitely isn't, and NFTs are good actually. Oh and also workers unionise. Join us with our good friend, patron, and all around nice guy Luci, Secretary of the UK Game Workers Branch of the IWGB Union.
