7/8 - life updates // let's just chat

on this episode, there is nothing scripted. let's talk like humans and catch up after a LONG intermission. i know its been a while, trust me i feel guilty af. i love this podcast and all of the blood, sweat and tears i put into creating it. its a passion, not just a hobby. but i have to be honest, i wanted to create a safe and transparent space for everyone and i haven't been feeling safe at all with my thoughts and a bit ashamed to be fully transparent. i realised i was contradicting the entire reason for this platform and i decided i need to be more transparent with everyone and stop avoiding social media fully. i kept waiting for the moment when everything in my life is "more perfect" so i can actually advise people and then have a voice, but that doesn't exist. that won't ever come because life is life and there will always be something. i am working on being more open and asking for help everyday, and so far its been difficult but i am making some progress. it isn't the easiest time for me emotionally but i want to be more open about it and not hide and talk about some life updates and learnings in the process. so here's a not very exciting but realistic life update. love you babes xx

love - issues - job loss - LIFE UPDATE

i have definitely been going through a lot this last month or so and i wanted to explain in a more transparent way that everything you may see on social media, or just by looking at someone who's smiling or looking happy doesn't necessarily prove anything. everyone has their own issues, their own struggles and it's so important that we are kind and compassionate at all times. life has been quite turbulent lately but its nothing that brings me down all the way, you get back up, you survive, and you push forward 10 times harder. if i can do it, you can do it. so here's a little life update/therapy session for me, haha. sorry for this episode being all over the place but it was literally fully unscripted and me just having a conversation, so its raw and real all the way. love you babies 3

getting f*cked how you want

how do you tell your partner what you want in the bedroom? 🤔 it seems relatively simple to people who are either advanced, sure of themselves, or super comfortable with their partners, but this is not the reality for everyone. at times sex and intimacy is truly difficult for some people and i have been there at one point of my life, very unsure of what i even enjoy, what feels good to me, and understanding my body and needs. it's a totally normal thing, not everyone has a porn star mentality and they shouldn't! let's discuss how to go about asking for what you like, want to try, what feels good, and understand that there is no shame in your desires. ❤️

it's kind of weird to say i have technically been in the dating scene for a decade now? i mean i want to say it's been 10 years but i don't think i was taken on a proper date until further in...but i guess if you are going out with the hopes of getting to know someone it's technically a date, right? haha. anyways, here's 10 things i learned and swear by. these tips would have saved me a lot of time and heartbreak but i wanna share them with you since i took one for the team. hope this helps even a little!

feeling fulfilled: when is enough, enough? 🤔

i can't explain how many times i've thought to myself, now that i've accomplished this, i need to do this other thing. or if i move to an apartment, i need to get a house next, or if i enter this relationship what if there's someone better out there, if i just make a bit more money then i'll be happier. i had to stop this never-ending cycle of torture. none of this equals fulfilment. i was going in circles looking for the next best thing until i realised enough is truly more than enough sometimes. let's discuss the differences between "happiness" and "fulfilment" and living in the moment rather than waiting for whats to come.
