Stronger Than Before

Kellie DAndrea

Stronger Than BeforeStronger Than Before is a podcast for people navigating identity collapse, reinvention, and the quiet in-between moments when the life you built no longer fits who you are becoming. Hosted by Kellie D’Andrea, this show explores what happens after success, trauma, burnout, or major life disruption—when titles disappear, roles shift, and the old version of you quietly dies. These conversations go beyond motivation and mindset, offering honest insight into identity loss, values-based rebuilding, and becoming grounded again without rushing clarity. Each episode blends personal reflection, real conversations, and practical frameworks for rebuilding identity one choice at a time. Topics include imposter syndrome as a misdiagnosis, midlife reinvention, trauma-informed growth, values before vision, and how to emerge stronger—not harder—on the other side of change. If you’re high-achieving, self-aware, and standing at the edge of something new—this podcast is your companion through the unraveling and the rebuild. Because identity collapse isn’t failure. It’s initiation.

    Generations Between Us

What happens when several generations of one family spend a vacation together? You notice things. After returning from a family vacation with my dad and his wife, my siblings, my daughter, and my nieces and nephews, I found myself thinking about just how differently each generation sees the world. We communicate differently. We approach work differently. We define success differently. We use technology differently. And sometimes, we can drive each other absolutely crazy. But what if those differences aren't something we need to fix? In this episode of Stronger Than Before, I explore what my family taught me about generational differences—and why curiosity may be one of the most powerful tools we have for staying connected. We'll talk about moving from “Why do they act like that?” to “I wonder where that comes from?”, the questions we should be asking our parents and adult children while we still have the opportunity, and why understanding another generation doesn't mean we have to agree with everything they believe. I also share 5 simple ways to make family moments magical, whether you're on a big family vacation or simply sitting around the dinner table. Because the moments we remember most aren't always the big ones. Sometimes they're a conversation with Dad. A game around the table. A walk on the beach. Listening to a young person talk about their first job. Or looking around a room filled with different generations and realizing: These are my people. And this moment won't come again exactly like this. 🎙️ The Generations Between Us: What a Family Vacation Taught Me About Getting Curious, Staying Connected & Making the Moments Matter What if the generation you understand the least has something important to teach you?

The Art of Asking Questions When the World Feels Like High School

You've done the inner work. You've rebuilt. You're moving forward — and then you step back into community and it feels exactly like high school all over again. The social gatekeeper. The achiever crowd. The faith-based group with an unspoken identity script. The conflict-avoider who's always nice but never quite real. And somewhere in the middle of all of it — there's you. Stronger than before, but quietly wondering: How do I stay myself when every group seems to want a different version of me? In this episode, Kellie tackles one of the most overlooked challenges of identity recovery — navigating real-world community after doing real inner work. Because stepping back in isn't just emotional. It requires strategy. We unpack why adult social groups mirror high school dynamics, how the lost art of asking questions protects your authenticity in any room, and the five practical tools you can use right now to engage fully without losing yourself. We also go there on the question nobody wants to ask out loud: are there communities you should simply leave? This isn't a pep talk. It's a framework for the messy, meaningful work of showing up as who you actually are. You're not starting over. You're starting from experience.
