We believe everyone has a story, and that God is present in every one, not as a guarantee of escape from suffering, but as the One who walks through it with you.  Romans 8 tell us that God can take every part of our lives, even the hard and painful things, and use them for good in the lives of those who love Him.  The goal isn’t to protect us from suffering, but to make us more like Jesus.     Ali Sims: God's Will
