    Daredevil Born Again Season 2 Episode 1 — "The Northern Star" | The Man Without Fear Is Back

    The Devil of Hell's Kitchen returns — and New York has never been more dangerous. Matt Murdock and Karen Page are running an underground operation out of a trashed-up Josie's Bar while Kingpin rules the city from the mayor's office, his Anti-Vigilante Task Force cracking skulls and rounding up immigrants in broad daylight. We break down all the action from the Season 2 premiere, including that jaw-dropping cliffhanger ending. Matt sinks a weapons barge called the Northern Star DM Talkies — military-grade ordnance secretly moving through Fisk's Freeport operation Ready Steady Cut — and somehow it still feels like a loss. The CIA wants to use the Freeport for their own agenda, and a spook named Mr. Charles (Matthew Lillard) calls the whole situation a "cluster-f**k." Dexerto So now Kingpin has to answer to Langley. A well-timed call from Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine gets the governor off Fisk's back Bam Smack Pow — which means the Thunderbolts universe is bleeding deeper into Hell's Kitchen. The AVTF knocks Daredevil out, unmasks him, and then gets sniped by Bullseye before they can do anything about it. Dexerto Matt Murdock's secret identity nearly died in Episode 1. Is Bullseye an ally now? What does he want? We get into all of it. We also talk: Is the ICE allegory too on the nose or exactly what this show should be doing? Karen's mysterious "friend Jess" and what Jessica Jones' arrival means for the season. DM Talkies Is Matthew Lillard's Mr. Charles the most interesting new character on television right now? The A.V.
