Father daughter bonding at its ginchiest

EllePlum is lovingly exasperated by her father's antics, and they do a good job of going over some historically interesting comics

A Fun Look at Silver Age Silliness

I've only recently discovered this podcast, and I was so enthralled by the interplay between the hosts, Gary Rolin and Ella Plum Rolin, that I binge-listened to the (so far) 41 episodes available. They go through each issue of the comic "Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen", from cover to cover, including the ads, the letters to the editor, the Jimmy Olsen stories, and the short comic strips. I love hearing Ella Plum's frequent "I have a question" interruptions when some plot point seems absolutely absurd, and Gary's long-winded introductions of Ella Plum, as she exasperatedly tries to begin reading. I'm old enough to have read almost the entire run of this comic book series in its original run, so it's fun to hear these two view the stories from a 21st Century perspective. I'm sorry to have started listening too late to have entered the DC slogan contest, but I hope, someday, to be able to send in a "Well, actually" on a heraldically correct illuminated parchment delivered by a falcon.

The internet's best father-daughter comedy double act.

Ridiculously fun banter centered around the most ridiculous comic from the most ridiculous era of comics.

After blowing through 28 episodes in a few days, now I'm just sad I'm going to have to wait a week between new ones.
